Has a LeBron team ever even managed to win a playoff series in the two year radii directly preceding and succeeding his tenure there?

I just got to use radii in a sentence.

True but it was within 2 years of LeBron being there. Alright, so one playoff series win by a LeBron team within two years of him being there. LeGOAT.

They were a different team by then. They actually filled out the roster with depth :oldlol:

Just like other teams do, when they lose their best player and want to stay competitive.

I thought this was going to be about Durant, because of how easily Golden state made it to the Finals without him. And teams after Lebron always had different personnel, thus not Lebron teams.

In terms of Lebron. The Lakers didn't even make the playoffs with him last season. Terrible outcome particularly when Lebron went into playoff mode.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that his playoff mode last year kind of makes your question irreverent, meaningless.

Has Pau Gasol ever won a playoff series as the first option without Kobe?

That is interesting. The Warriors won series without Durant AND they never replaced him. Same with Curry
