Kobe never had a Big 3. Kobe never jumped ship to join superteams like Lebron did with Wade and Bosh back in 2010. 6. Less help: Kobe played with Bynum, Fisher, Pau Gasol, and Shaq. On the other hand, Lebron played with the greatest shooter of all time Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, Anderson Varejao, Chalmers, Lewis, Battier, Wade, Jamison, Kyrie, and heck even Shaq! I conclude that Lebron had better supporting pieces around him than Kobe and still failed. 5. Loyalty. You look at Kobe, he had loyalty. Never left his hometown. Lebron left Cleveland as THE reigning MVP to join forces with former MVP Wade and Bosh. No matter what he accomplished in Cleveland, that an asterisk in his legacy. 4. Finals record. Kobe is 5-1. Lebron is 3-6. I would rather pick a winner than a loser and that winner is Kobe. 3. Court vision. Lebron just bullies his way though. Ugly. Kobe has an arsenal of moves allowing him to create opportunity. 2. Clutch shooting. I would rather pick Kobe to shoot a possible game winner than Lebron. Lebron is too inconsistent. 1. Appeal to fans. I saw a kid at the park the other day yelling KOBEEE!!! as the kid threw the paper ball in the trash. No sensible kid would yell LEBRONN! Doesn't sound right. Kobe is better than Lebron. :lebroncry:

Yikes Explain the 2011 Finals loss, than. No superstar in NBA history had a meltdown in the Finals with a stacked team in the Finals like that. Take this L, bron stans. :lol :lebroncry:

Regardless of the stupid conversation that will go on in here...

Kobe
Artest
Odom
Pau
Bynum

That was an insane team. Wonder how they do now considering how important shooting is. Beast defensively. Kobe and Artest just used to funnel everything into the two big men back in the day.

Its crazy how kobe had so little help yet was either a sidekick or a complete afterthought (2000 finals) for 3/5 of his rings. How the f*ck did he pull that off?

Its crazy how kobe had so little help yet was either a sidekick or a complete afterthought (2000 finals) for more than half of his rings. How the f*ck did he pull that off? You're a bron stan so your argument that Lebron is better than Kobe is rendered invalid. Explain 2011. Last time I recalled, Lebron was a sidekick to the man, Wade. LeBrick was no show in the 4th quarter. Wade could have gotten a Finals MVP if it wasn't for LeBrick. :lebroncry:

If only bron had the luxury of winning while scoring 15ppg on 35% shooting as a sidekick:(.

Lol. Imagine actually thinking this:lol "INSANE TEAM!"

Why not give us the averages of Ron Artest during the championship years?

You're kind of right. Lebron's team had multiple chances to win if Lebron didn't shoot 35% from the field, 60% from the line, and average 6TOs a game in 2007.

In giving up Finals MVPs? Yes, you are quiet correct.

In giving up Finals MVPs? Yes, you are quiet correct. Winning all that matters. Kobe 5-1 and Lebron 3-6. If I was a coach and if I was asked to pick either player, I'll pick Kobe because he is a winner and not a loser who consistently chokes in the Finals. :kobe: Lebron not even top 10. You all bron stans try to decrown MJ and Kobe by bringing up empty stats. Mj the goat, and Kobe is 2nd.

No. not even a little better. He does one thing better than prime Lebron and unfortunately the record books will show Lebron ahead of him in nearly all aspects of it. Surprised this dumb topic made it 2 pages without anyone reminding you that Kobe is 5-2 in the finals. And I was wondering if you had any idea, by chance how Kobe bean Bryant did against those same 2011 Mavs as the defending champ?

Why did Kobe need 6 trips to the Finals to win his 1st FMVP?

Kobe won 2 titles as lead dog in 20 seasons. Lebron won 3 titles as lead dog in 16 seasons.

This is so easy to do.
