so many great teams. even the lesser mentioned less active teams this free agency have a shot at winning this coming season.

lebron and AD is a great duo
kawhi and PG is a great duo
harden and westbrook will both appreciate having another MVP running-mate

bucks sixers jazz nuggets blazers all good teams that can make noise this season.

the warriors and nets will be a factor when they return to health this postseason and next season respectively. that's curry/dray/klay and kd/kyrie/DJ

a far cry from the playoffs the last three seasons. western conference playoffs will be amazing. parity throughout the entire league.

the NBA was hurting in a bad way until the league's GOAT franchise the raptors (shoutout raptors and raps fans GOAT fanbase no bias) won the championship this year.

the 2019-2020 season is proof that the NBA has completely recovered from the snake's shenanigans. :applause:

Lakers have a unique combo that we've never seen before and I'm scared

Like, do opposites fit perfectly and create amazing synergies? We're about to find out -

Lebron's overly ball-dominant style with AD's overly play-finishing style - they compliment each other's weakness perfectly.. it could result in an unstoppable, juggernaut offense

So the Lakers have the edge, especially considering budding star Kuzma, and all-pros Cousins and Green.. the most stacked team of the decade

The only hope is that the all-world versatility on both ends of Kawhi/PG is just... too... good

Seems like it but might not be. Quite a few people thought Boston would be dominant and maybe win 65+ and they won 49. On the flip side a team projected for just a great 55+ win season could be historically great. I could see it with the clips but there are others too. Bucks are very scary if Giannis makes another jump and philly is still talented as hell with possibly better chemistry this year. Lakers have a lot of variance with their talent

Yes, I'm shook that a guy with no jumper, no elite post or off-ball game, numerous choking instances and losses as the favorite, and 6 losses in the championship was ever considered remotely close to Jordan

Now he's stacked his team more than ever before and people will start the goat conversation again if he just gets to 4 rings (not 6)

Yeah, that crap has me shook... 4-5 rings in 18-19 years is inferior to 6 rings in 15 years (6 in 11 full seasons).. MJ will always have the best winning frequency of 3-pointer basketball (6 in 15 yrs, 40%)

yeah. it'll be between the bucks and sixers. I think horford is a big loss celtics don't have any good bigs.

plus I forgot to mention the knicks are still trash - this is the true timeline for the NBA balance has been restored with kd's karmic injury.

I kind of have doubts about the bucks winning like 60+ without brogdon and the sixers winning like 65 resting embiid but it

I don't know why everyone is overreacting LeBron is still going to make the playoffs Spurs and Clippers are trash and LeBron will go into GOAT mode down the stretch

On paper it definitely appears that way Op. I think the player freedom era will give us roster shakeups like this or hopefully similar every 5 years or so. I didn't like it a few years back as it began but this off season I'm sure has been dynamite for the league office. Franchises that haven't had fans in years will now get national spotlight for a few years minimum. It's bad for fans of teams that lose players but good for the league overall i think.

I'm scared

The only hope

Yes, I'm shook

Yeah, that crap has me shook...
Only took him 20k posts to finally, finally, get to the f'n point.

I really don’t get why people just list the Lakers as a duo. That’s a trio (AD, LeBron, Cousins). Cousins is going to beast this year
Exactly - kd is coming off an achilles and everyone considers him and Kyrie a Big 2

So Lebron, AD, and Cousins are a Big 3.... And everyone said all year that Kuzma is basically an all-star.. So a big 4????? Plus Green is an all-pro on defense, so they're the most stacked team of this decade
