All Along the Watchtower - The Jimi Hendrix Experience (originally Bob Dylan)

Faith - Limp Bizkit (originally George Michael)

Most covers are worse - these two are both light years better than the originals.

As a huge Beatles fan I would say generally it's blasphemy to cover and rearrange their songs. But Joe Cockers version of With A Little Help From My Friends may be the only Beatles song to take it to the next level

Dope cover

Staying on Joe Cocker dude can really slay Beatles songs. Across The Universe nailed EVERY cover, but the Joe Cocker Come Together was Fiyah! You can tell he really was into the groove

Seems like they tried to replicate the exact sound of the Beatles' version (that skinny dude sounds exactly like Harrison) rather than making it their own.

And that guitar solo was very impressive from a technical standpoint - I can't play that fast - but it did not serve the song IMO and was just a lot of jerking off the guitar.

The very end was pretty cool when they did the harmonized stuff.

I remember the last time this thread came around. haha.

Old Johnny Cash killed Hurt and Personal Jesus.

I listen to a lot of folk ballads, but you can't really call those 'covers.' Jus different people's versions.

Y'know the White Stripes cover of Jolene is one of the best covers ever. The White Stripes were good, but speaking of bands that never evolved... still, they pulled some shit out with that song. Mind blowing, to me.

I kinda like Beck's cover of Pink Moon.

Of course Dead Flowers by TVZ.
