Nas wasn’t able to evolve like Eminem. Nas is overrated

Em at 26: raps stupid shit and talks about beefs with Canibus or whatever

Em at 46: still rapping about stupid shit and still talking Canibus and past beef over some weird robotic flow.

There are some dudes now with some alright shit. Sean Price is the only dude who has come out w/ anything really good since 2010 I think. That's some 'unreleased' shit you need to hear.

Dudes like (late life) P and (late life) Lord Superb are the best type of rappers.

It's like you gotta burn yourself out on drugs before you can really get on that level.

Nasty bars, perfect rhythm, no ****s given. I've never heard Eminem or Nas sound like that even on a produced record that they prol did mad takes on.

Who better than an old dude that's been through the ups and downs of the game to spit knowledge? What the **** do you want him to rap about, candy and toys? Kelis is not his wife.

Eminem is far more creative and wide ranging than nas... Who only has one gear. A really good one but he sounds exactly the same in every song and basically talks about the same shit.

Agreed.

Funny thing is tho, Nas unreleased lost tapes 2 stuff isn't even that great, compared to his very early work, or many other golden age rappers current work. Raekwon still putting out fire frequently, no flicker in those candles. Gibbs, Mos, Black Thought let off some perfection last month over Madlib butter here:

Planet Asia still burning twice bright, but not half long yo:

"Golden choppers from swollen pockets, golden chakras,
Me & my potnas is so obnoxious and over-conscious,
Too many lames tryna do this getting no responses,
and still there's a buncha lames that's being over-sponsored."

Made a thread about it a lil earlier, seems like ISH has shitty taste in muzek. Nas is of the most underrated

illmatic, it was written and stillmatic are my go-to nas albums. everything else from him minus this or that was hit or miss gimmick garbage. he had a lot of hits, but too many misses. i don't see him as underrated.
