Here in Michigan it got up to 97 and humid as hell. I feel bad for the people who had to work outdoors.

The Midwest getting 100 degree days with the humidity and factor in the wind, very bad for your health,
heat index values around 107-114 that are going to last about 3-4 days, not good for elderly and small pets.

And Phoenix got about 20 degrees hotter than that with monsoon's for a week straight. :confusedshrug:

Arizona's monsoon season begins in June and continues through September. With it comes higher humidity, which can lead to thunderstorms, heavy rain, lightning, hail, high winds, flash flooding, dust storms and extreme heat. :coleman:

The actual temps aren't that bad tbh, I could typically deal with low-mid 90s, but the humidity just makes it god awful. Dew points near the 80 degree mark made it like 106 here today and tomorrow it will probably be feeling like 110. But this summer has been pleasant up until this point so I won't complain that much.

the west and southwest heat u guys r talking about is a DRY heat. it's hot, ya - but u don't sweat profusely and suffer heat exhaustion like folks do in the midwest and east when it gets real hot.

I haven't stayed in Arizona for more than a trip, but yea 110+ is hot. I stayed in Santa Fe for awhile, but that's on a mountain. Big ass snowflakes in Santa Fe.

I dunno man, south TX heat is pretty formidable even tho we are by the water and it rarely gets above 100 actual temp. It's like DAT SUN. Been record highs here, too.

edit: Laredo is prol the hottest feeling place I've ever been. Cuz it's got those 'high temps' plus DAT sun plus it no sea breeze.

93 degrees here in Wisconsin , then got slammed with a vicious rain storm -
2 1/2 inchs in an hour ....
Driveway washed out , two trees down in back yard , one crushing my orchard.

I forgot you must live near me. I went to work on Saturday for 4 hours of overtime to help out and some places in the building with the AC down were like 91 degrees with 95% humidity. Just standing there for two minutes caused your to pour sweat.

After work I went grocery shopping with my wife when the storms hit and people were running inside and I'm just walking slowy in the rain welcoming it.

I'm a fan of dry heat. As mentioned already, humidity makes you uncomfortable. Last 2 nights it was rough. I didn't turn on the AC and tried to sleep through it with a window fan and a tower fan pointed at me.

MATTER

:lol

But at least I'm awake now. Let's see how the rest of this day goes.

Took down a signature tree in back yard today.... a 35 foot choke cherry.
Storm snapped it in half.

Dude I literally hate the weather with a passion. I hate the humidity being like it is for 9+ months. I couldn't tell you the last time I had a cold Christmas, like wtf that's not normal. But yeah, what you're saying probably isn't an irrelevant factor. Not BAD memories, just dead ones.

I moved to the country for more privacy.

I don't like most people.

Do you live in an apartment?

Yes. Privacy isn't an issue. Low key community. I have no problems with anyone around me. It's not that.

The weather blows. I can't walk to my truck without my nuts sticking to my legs.

Side note... would you ever consider dating a chick you found to be one of the hottest you've seen if she had a kid? I'm debating it... I think it's probably a bad idea. Daddy will always be in the picture unless he's dead.

I dated girls with kids before.

It was weird because I look like a serial killer and kids are very honest.

But yes, if the father is around, he may kill you.

Oh I'm not worried about that last part. I just don't like drama and they'll always have that connection. It's rare there's a clean break when a kid is involved.

Yes. Of course it’s less than ideal but it’s not a dealbreaker. Lots of us fall into the trap of not wanting to settle early and having fun while your young, the dark side of it is you don’t realize if you keep this up to your late 20’s and into your 30’s..a huge portion of the best long term relationship material women are off the market at that point. Most really attractive single women you meet are single for a reason. The perfect hot non crazy’s get married up and locked down, the hot ones with issues get left by the wayside. You could potentially find a good chick that was ****ed over by her husband and now she is where she is. You will never know if you don’t even go out with her once. Go for it and see what happens.

Confirmed. I am the father, and I absolutely will kill him if he sleeps with her.
