The little known secret is that the best overall team is probably the 96 version. No college filler( Laettner) and no honorary selections there( Bird and Magic). I mean the frontcourt has Hakeem, Shaq, Admiral, Malone, Barkley, Pippen and Grant Hill for fukk sakes.

LOL at the 2008 or 2012 teams even giving the Dream Team a run when a Spanish team lead by the front court of the Gasol Sisters and a bunch of no names gave them ALL THEY COULD HANDLE in the gold medal games. Imagine the front court of Ewing, Robinson, Barkley and Malone!!! RIP!!!

The only weak links on that team were Laettner and Bird and with Bird he could still stroke the ball from anywhere and pass it like nobodies business. Magic was only 32 y/o and one year removed from being an MVP runner up.

The 1996 had no cohesiveness particularly because of the young/old dynamic and players like Barkley, Stockton, Robinson and Stockton were ALL better and younger in 1992 plus Shaq, Hardaway and Hill were pretenders that didn't know how to win at that time plus MJ WAS NOT ON THE SQUAD!
