If bron hadn't choked in 2009....we would have got it. And forever the debate would have been laid to rest.

You really think averaging nearly 40 ppg and hitting game winners at the buzzer is choking :lol

A Kobe Finals team destroys a Lebron Finals team

Kobe won with a Bosh-level player at 2nd option, while Lebron needed Bosh at 3rd option and a Kobe-like perimeter stud at 2nd option

Kobe's skillset yielded better teams with less talent because his on and off-ball versatility fit with more player types and into any system

Ultimately, Kobe's skillset yielded Warriors-type juggernauts that won most Finals, while Lebron's skillset yields weaker, losing teams in the Finals

It's Kobe hands down over lebron as a winner, and that's why he's the better player

Kobe's team would've been moving the ball like Dwight's team was, so Kobe would've beaten Dwight

Otoh, you heard Stan Van Gundy - he stated that he let lebron dribble and iso every possession, while the defense stayed home on the cast..

In other words, they let lebron play his shit brand of ball - they couldn't do that with Kobe, so kobe would never lose that series like lebron did

So Lebron's losing brand of stat-padding, while losing as the favored 1 seed is indeed choking..

Anything up to 2010, Kobe would have won. Afterwards, it would be Lebron. Or at least after 2011.

The fact that they actually are unable to understand this is appalling.

I think there’s a chance LeBron wins in 2009 or 2010. Lakers would definitely be the favorites though.
