View Full Version : Rich Paul: We advised Morris to take 3 yrs 41 mill from the Clippers, he declined it

So Rich Paul told Marcus Morris that he thought 3 years 41 was a good and fair offer for his services from the Clippers, but basically Marcus Morris thought the 41 million was a bad deal and that he could do better so he wanted to wait, then the Clippers retracted the offer because they added Mo Harkless and they couldn't do that deal with Morris any longer because of their other free agency aims (Kawhi)...

So for everyone that absolutely shit on Rich Paul... yep... you were wrong about this situation. I'll just leave this thread here while it gets ignored and conveniently glossed over by everyone that absolutely shit on him in the last thread.

Well technically 15 is more than he would

Well technically 15 is more than he would’ve made on that clips contract. I wouldn’t have done it but at his age, not a completely stupid decision if he’s all about money

Assuming he stays healthy, you're definitely not wrong, but that's beside the point of this thread. The point of this thread is a bunch of people shit on Rich Paul because some of them even had the audacity to suggest that Rich Paul killed that Morris to Clippers deal to help LeBron... and some of these people genuinely believed that stupid shit.

ah then i agree. an agent is never going sacrifice money lol. Someone else pointed out paul and morris separated because of the spurs deal and paul has murray's extension with the spurs to consider.

It's far easier to complain about lebron maybe hurting his team some asking for guys like tristan, jr, kcp to get overpaid but rich paul would do that anyway even without a lebron influence. People here who dont like lebron have nothing to complain about since they want to see those guys overpaid :oldlol:
