Its always nice to see Chuck and the Worm go at it but this one being a blowout MVP Sir Charles and the Suns had the better of Rodman and the Pistons at Phoenix...
Includes almost (if not all) plays between the two

Prime Barkley was top 3 for from 1990-1993. In 1990, he was almost neck and neck with Jordan and Magic.

To get a great indication of how good Barkley was in his peak, watch the 1989 knicks 76ers series on YouTube. Game 2 on there in its entirety and Q4 and OT of game 3 is as well.
These 5.5 quarters of playoff basketball show not just how great he was, but how much he was let down by his team - who were poor to start with and underperformed even more in the playoffs. These games are not particularly special performances by Barkley, just standard 29 and 30 point games where he was incredibly efficient and played an awesome brand if team ball. At this point of his career, he was the best a PF has ever been.
Chuck was the ultimate team player on offense. Always looking for the right scoring opportunity, whether it was him or not, and trying to get everyone involved. He'd always try and draw the double first, knowing that this would create an open shot for a team mate. If the double didnt come, he was basically a guarantee to get to the basket, usually for the and-1. If it did come, he'd find the open man
He was clutch too. Scoring big in Q4 of both games and hitting the game tying mid-range jumper to send game 3 to OT.
But time and time again his team mates would brick the open shot, drop the quick pass under the basket, or miss the open layup.
Chuck was clearly a net positive on defense in these games also.
Watching the series, Barkley is head and shoulders the best and most dominant player on the court, but the knicks still swept. Duncan, Malone and Dirk never had to deal with the kind of ineptitude that Barkley suffered in Philly, while they were in their primes.
