TNT will no longer air "Players Only" broadcasts

Via sources: TNT will no longer air the Players Only NBA broadcast. Turner Sports will likely do some Players Only content but as far as games for the 2019-20 season, the Players Only broadcast on TNT is no more.

I didn't mind it. It was different, even though they were not good. I'll be honest, I don't really enjoy listening to any of these national broadcasts unless there's tension or drama in a close game. I do pay attention when JVG rants though.

I didn't mind it. It was different, even though they were not good. I'll be honest, I don't really enjoy listening to any of these national broadcasts unless there's tension or drama in a close game. I do pay attention when JVG rants though.
Pretty much how I feel but I guess no one actually has their eyes on the screen for 2.5 hours of a basketball game so you need PBP guys. Though once I am paying attention I could do without guys like Mike Breen (who's probably one of the best PBP guys). I much prefer the color commentary (no racist).

I mean... it's kinda hard to ignore the Players Only broadcast when they kept blabbering about stupid shit and tried so hard to come off as good that they always ended up being cringeworthy. Nate Robinson was the worst

Also, good commentary enhances the viewing experience. I really enjoy listening to some guys Mike Breen, JVG mostly when he's ranting, and Kevin Harlan to name few. I like Marv Albert too but these days he's mixing names too much :lol

Didn't bother me, was just more basketball and that's good for everyone but my ex wife. A lot of the times, I watch games on low sound or no sound at all, with music on or just people are over and everyone is talking.
