The World Cup (with Team USA and TONS of other NBA players on many other teams) is 35 days away. (It starts August 31.)
It runs through Sept 15. And then around 2.5 weeks later, NBA preseason begins.
So discussion-wise, we should still focus on all the wild NBA offseason changes for another week or two, and then get serious with World Cup stuff, and then once the World Cup starts we're good, because just as it ends we'll start hearing about which players are getting NBA training camp invites, etc
