Isn't it funny how this was completely brushed under the rug and NEVER discussed or brought up by the same media outlets that create these narrative driven "All-time lists"?
Why is Jordan's minor shove discussed 20 years later yet just 2 years later this blatant and gamebreaking disregard of the rules of basketball completely screwed over a young, exciting, budding team and its fanbase, completely forgotten?
Quite peculiar and interesting

What about the possession 10 seconds before, when they wrongfully robbed the Cavs of a possession?

?? What aren't you seeing? Thad hit the ball out of his hands but his hand does not follow through, obviously Lebron is the last to touch it...

There was a two minute report, both plays they got wrong.
"The Last Two Minute Report also noted a missed call that benefited the Pacers, saying the referees erred when they gave the ball to Indiana with 27.6 seconds left"

So let's add this to the list of times Lebron got saved:
- 2007 ECF closeout game - score was tied heading into 4th, when Boobie Gibson scores 19 pts vs Lebron's 8 pts on 2-7
- 2008 ECSF - Future COY Mike Brown's stellar defensive coaching allowed the Cavs to hold the Celtics to below their normal averages, so the Cavs took them 7 games despite Lebron's anemic 35% shooting (26 ppg)
- 2013 Finals - RayRay legacy saver - the GOAT legacy-save of any superstar
- 2016 Finals - Silver suspends the series alpha in the critical game, plus Kyrie's shot wins Game 7
- 2018 Rd 1 - Refs miss blatant goal-tend that prevented lebron from suffering a 1st round loss with a high seed and in his prime

Which game was that?
Egregious either way. Especially if that happened in the final seconds...and officials "reviewed" it.

game 5. unless you really believe in momentum, bron made a 3 after so it's kind of a moo point.

What part of the game did that happen though?
Final minute? Seconds etc? Depending on the circumstance, I do believe in momentum btw.

so the sequence was during final seconds. block happened, cavs got ball called timeout, then bron made a buzzer beater 3. I believe in momentum but the same thing likely would've happened if it counted. timeout, out of bounds plays, and bron likely takes the same shot. You have to believe bron is shook enough to affect his shooting stroke.
May be true for some lesser role players but idts for bron and a lot of good players honestly. This wasnt some unlikely crazy play that can tilt someone, just a normal game winning bucket by oladipo

Yeah I remember the sequence now. Don't think it was ever reviewed.
Anyway, I don't know what Lebron would be thinking.
Here's a fact though...
Psychologically, attempting a game-winner with the game tied, instead of being down, is way different. I mean...you cant lose with one BUT with the other....

i get the point but that comes up more when you see a guy pass off a decent look. someone's who afraid to take the shot like chris webber(and no passing when you're doubled doesnt count).
Just dont think it's too big a deal for any pretty good player with a decent reputation for being composed in tight situations. it's an end of game situation where you have to get a shot off quickly no matter what. Like do people really think mj would miss if malone had made a ft in 97 game 1?
