These are some AAC college basketball conference observations, credited to SI.com, going into the 2019-20 season:
They have Memphis at No. 1 in the conference, citing the huge recruiting class Penny Hardaway has brought in. At No. 2 they have Cincinnati, citing the return of last season's AAC Player of the Year Jarron Cumberland. At No. 3 they have Houston, though that school lost a bunch of leading scorers. And at No. 4 they have Wichita State, who will need more scoring since Markis McDuffie is gone.
