Devin Booker is ranked the worst SG on D by far. He's not that hype. Tatum got so overhyped that people are still lulled by the rhetoric. The dude was a bum last season. Ingram should be higher than both Booker, Tatum and Murray. I'd also put him above Fox but that one is close cause Fox had an impressive season.

Careful, a 23 year old Ben Simmons will still be in the league during that time....you know the guy who absolutely pushed Luka's shit in this past season? After all of the media/twitter/reddit/ish was saying Luka > Ben....yeah that guy :oldlol:

You're clearly asking about Murray so Trae is the better scorer, more efficient scorer, BY FAR the better passer and does all this on less minutes. It's not remotely close.

Murray has a higher ceiling, but Trae is closer to his ceiling already.
Trae's numbers also look better than they would on the Nugs.
Put Murray on the bottom of the barrel Hawks with Trae's usage rate and Murray's stats would skyrocket.

Throw Murray on the Hawks and his numbers would spike. Not his efficiency but his raw numbers like PPG would be much higher. Just like someone like Booker wouldn't be putting up the same scoring numbers on a 55 win team. They won like 30 games. Trae Young is going to be good, could very well end up better than Murray, but not right now.

Murray just averaged 21/5/4 in the playoffs and was a game away from the WCF. Had some absolute massive moments and hit some clutch shots. He's a gamer. His efficiency was down this year but at 21 years old he was the 2nd option on a 54 win team that almost made the WCF which is pretty impressive.

I see an argument for both but I'm going to say it's probably because the playoffs he thinks that. Murray had an ugly game 7, and for sure some rough spots at times, but he also showed he could go off at the highest level. He had that insane 4th quarter against S.A. Back to back 34 point games vs Portland. Wanna say his averages were like 24/6/5 vs Portland. Efficiency wasn't the best but being a playoff rookie and doing what he did isn't exactly par for the course.

Playoffs tend to be a different animal.

What? I disagree. I think Young has just as much potential as Murray, if not more. I think Young was a rookie last year and played on a bad team so his numbers were inflated. You put him on the Nuggets and he isn't averaging 8 apg. Murray currently IMO is better. We saw him pop off in the playoffs.

Going forward it's a toss up, but Murray is more proven due to him having some success in the playoffs this year.

atljonesbro
08-05-2019, 02:58 PM
Carry the Hawks? They won 29 games. Where did he carry them too? I never said Murray would carry the Hawks. Just that his APG/PPG would skyrocket on a worse team. That goes without saying. Numbers get inflated on worse teams.

I actually like Young and could see him becoming better so I don't even wanna keep arguing against it. Murray is without a doubt more tested tho. We've literally seen him go out in the 4th quarter and win a playoff game.
People thought the Hawks would be the definitive worst team in the league coming in to the season and win like 20 games lol. Trae literally back packed the Hawks post allstar break to a near .500 record with a roster that was basically he and Collins.

As long as Trae and Collins are on the list, all is well.

Ben Simmons is honestly the trashest player on the planet, and only player I've ever genuinely hated on. My dad should be on the list over him, and he's 66.

Kevin Huerter should be on there, will be better than. PG13.
