Very similar to Jeremy Lin’s bitch ass.

Carmelo STILL hasn’t figured out that he’s not even close to the player he once was.

Dude, you were a volume scorer at your peak, an elite one, but that’s all you brought to the table and you no longer even bring that.

Your defense is awful, you aren’t a good and or willing passer, and you can’t even shoot any longer.

YOU GOT OLD. IT IS OVER. I AM SORRY BUT THAT IS LIFE!!

Carmelo Anthony, "It was deeper than basketball. If I cant make a 9-10man rotation, its deeper than basketball"

This dude is so unwilling to accept a non-superstar type of role that he has deluded himself to thinking it's an illuminati conspiracy. Nah bruh, it's not your skills, it's not the illuminati, it's your damn mentality.

Yeah, what he brought was scoring. Now he can't even bring that against bench players. This means he's a below average scorer with awful defense and nothing else. You're better off playing a G-Leaguer who at least will try hard at defense and not take up valuable possessions.

Morey must've looked at the analytics and decided Melo's not worth it.

Uh no. It is his skills.

Based on NBA standards, he sucks. He

Uh no. It is his skills.

Based on NBA standards, he sucks. He’s REALLY bad.

It's not like he doesn't have a jumpshot anymore. If he had the right mentality he would make an excellent spot up shooter at this time of his career. He has just been trash because his mind is clouded with his own toxic self-sabotage by thinking he's still a superstar level talent. It's all mental.

The comments are the worst part. Casuals saying he's still a top 30 player that can average 15 a night. Wondering why teams don't pick him up for extra scoring, he's better than everyone on the Suns, etc.

The lack of awareness is just sad.

People in the comments are idiots

“It’s a conspiracy”
“It’s bigger than basketball”

He's been an overall negative to any team for at least 5 years.

It's just that some stupid fans can't tell and thus he can be marketed as a "star".

He's been shit since the year after J-Kidd dragged his loser ass to the playoffs.

I said it way back when he got traded from Denver. They won that trade. Melo was never gonna take them anywhere. Especially because he was gonna be living in Lebron

Melo is better than a lot Nba players still. There's no way he should not be on the team. You're a straight up ****ing hater or troll if you think otherwise :coleman:

He was trash in OKC also, not just Houston. I don't think he was even that good in NYC, most overrated player ever.

Of course he is, but he thinks he's still a starter who should get 15 shots a game. He could still be a good bench player who would give you a couple threes and some easy buckets down low but he's not willing to adjust to that role.

Carmelo is ABSOLUTELY NOT an NBA player anymore. He's just useless now. The way he wants to play is be an iso scorer, but he's not efficient anymore and that kind of offense just isn't how teams play anymore anyway. This isn't the 2000's decade anymore. Let's say you just have him out there to spot up? Well, he's not an especially good spot up shooter and the fact that he's atrocious defensively means that there are much better options than him in that kind of role. I love how his career is ending considering how overrated he was when he was younger. He was talked about like he was as good as a LeBron, Wade, and Kobe when he was younger when he was never even close to their tier when it came to impact. As I always say, look at the banana boat friends: LeBron, Wade, CP3...Carmelo. If you talk about how good and impactful these four are/were there is clearly a huge drop when you get to Carmelo.

It’s pretty bad when it takes you 12 FG attempts to get those 13 points and you are a bad defensive player.
