I like this team but with a tweak of replacing Kenny with Russ, or if he doesn't count because he hasn't played for them yet Francis.

can't count russ because he hasn't played for the rox yet.
i did consider putting drex as starting sg and moving francis to backup, then have harden as pg with cp3 as back up

:facepalm Barkley was trash on the Rockets. This is just ... I can't even ... Kenny Smith????? Have you ever heard of m'fin Calvin Murphy? I don't think TMac was a SF much. Rudy Tomjanovich? How about a guy named Moses Malone? Elvin Hayes? So much fail.

1st year barkley wasn't too bad. i did consider hayes but i went with barkley since i was more familiar with him. same goes for murphy but tbh he annoys the hell outta me so i left him off. i'd still take barkley over rudy. feel free to make your own list

Calvin Murphy is a damn national treasure!!
Too many bigs for Houston! Some played C and PF.

SG/PG have been the weakest, but thankfully Parker started so young (19) and played for Spurs for a long time. Nice starting line-up though.

i hate murphy's commentary. he turns every rocket's player achievement into a story about himself.
lakers and houston have the deepest pool of bigs. our pg position has usually been weak though

Gasol and nique were washed up by the time they got to San Antonio. Where is Gervin?

So were McGrady, G. Robinson, van Exel, etc. - it was my understanding that this thread was having been in the franchise at any point in their career.
My sincere apologies to Gervin - I was only going by my tenure as a Spur fan (not NBA fan). That makes the SF position crazy deep.

anyone that watched Them play might. If you're looking at stats you might not. There's a big reason they went to another level once Eaton was forced to retire. Similar to what you will see this year with Conley and Bojan instead of Bricky and Favors. They were no longer playing 4 on 5 on offense. The guy sucked. Being huge and holding your arms up in the air doesn't make you good

'18 Mike Conley / '06 Damon Stoudamire (was ballin before the injury, so beats out J. Williams and young Kyle 'bowling ball' Lowry)
'05 Mike Miller / '13 Tony Allen
'04 James Posey / '06 Shane Battier
'06 Pau Gasol / '11 Zach Randolph
'13 Marc Gasol / '04 Lorenzen Wright
As usual for the Grizz, solid team sorely lacking a wing star. Could've thrown Rudy Gay in there to pretend to remedy that problem, but I'd rather just stick with the grit & grind MO.
