Well. I'm finally on the job market. Unfortunately, I'm not testing the waters. Instead, I'll find myself unemployed if I don't find something, soon.

Our contract is coming to an end and the agency I work for has taken a huge auditing hit from the city. My director and I have an amazing relationship, he confided in me to start looking before our contract comes to an end because he's stepping down once I and another coworker finds something.

We were bound to land a new contract with a new initiative but the city won't reveal when. I couldn't sit down and wait to see if I'll have a job. Combined with him stepping down soon, the program wouldn't continue and I can't do outcome like settings anymore.

I've applied for other case management jobs and did an interview Friday, they asked when I could start and said I'd have an offer the same day from HR at 4 (interview was at 2). Nothing yet. We even discussed the location and schedule.

I don't know if I should be worried. I sent a follow up email today morning at 10. No response yet.

I've applied to probably 50-100 jobs. To be fair, only about 10 or less with a cover letter.

I'm open to doing HR recruiter, Customer Success Manager (looking more and more into this, it sounds more like me and the pay is better than all my other choices), and staying in the same field as a case manager, hence the interview on Friday for.

I have a 2-4 week window to get the fck out of here before shit hits the fan. Our COO told me she has a place for us, but it'll be a shit job, part time, I know it.

I'm not chancing it. The entire agency sucks. I got a promotion here and retained the same position, but only seen a decrease in pay.

I love what I do, but, I have to start making moves.

This sucks. Btw, Alan, that DOE job seemed to have been a fraud. The guy kept bs'ing that he negotiated deals with Albany and can't get funding. Has us on a loose string with little to no updates. It looked like he only wanted friends to chill with.

Didn't this dude just talk about leasing a new vette and now he's talking about looking for a new job? :biggums:

No, I'm looking out for my boy Draz unlike yourself that wouldn't know the first thing about fiscal responsibility.

What aren't you understanding about the fact that it's not the best idea to lease a new vette while you are in-between jobs. :facepalm

Shit you may not even be approved to lease it without proof of employment.

I can't hold your hand through every simple explanation son. Saying "cringe" every time you are confused and putting yourself through further mental gymnastics is not the answer.

There needs to come a point where you figure things out on your own. Start with something basic, like the realization that Stalker is a good father. Then slowly build up your understanding on how the world works from there.

Baby steps.

maybe, just maybe, the vetter idea has been shelved bc of recent news regarding his current job.

Again, your posts make no sense. :facepalm

He made that vette thread just 15 days ago. Most people know their work situation 15 days out and when a contract is going to end.

On top of that, your reply was "you sound jealous"

Why would I be jealous of him being in-between jobs you mental midget? That makes no sense. Most lenders will require a down payment of 30% or more before granting a loan to someone who is unemployed.

Why don't you think before you post instead of just posting whatever, which results in you putting yourself through mental gymnastics after the fact? All that enables you to do is grasp for straws.

Which has nothing to do with your response of "you sound jealous" which makes no sense. No point in discussing this further with you. You don't understand wtf you're talking about. Can't say I'm shocked, your IQ being low and all.....

you're the one who brought up the fiscal situation...

i said you're jealous and you turned it into: umm i was just trying to watch out for him.

dumb idiot, it hurts my head to deal with how moronic you are. did you even graduate high school? i don't believe you did, no willing teacher would pass you with your lack of reading comprehension. :wtf:

with your lack of reading comprehension, i wouldn't doubt that it's a diploma from an unaccredited school. :oldlol:

I actually just got the email from the place I interviewed with 🤬 she said she tried calling and left a voice mail. I didn't even see. It was like 30 minutes after I did the interview they offered me the job.

Well, looks like the Vette is back on the market too.

Let's see what they offer me. Regardless, whatever I asked for ($44k) is a raise. I was getting $35,900. No way they don't give me minimum $40k.

Thanks. Yeah bro, I'm on there.

I'm looking into customer success manager.

I still can accept the job, have a two weeks grace period to still interview and find something then retract the original job offer.

Regardless, I'll be gambling all around since I'm putting in a two weeks notice. If I land something new, I'd retract, then hope the new job offer doesn't pull back as well. I'd be assed out on all three lol

Good deal. I'd still wait and feel out any new job for a few months before making any big purchase or signing any lease agreement.

They offered me $43,680 (this is including 15 days PTO), 401K after 6 months, Health insurance (igaf I use my wife's better insurance)

$31.50 overtime.

It's hourly at $21. For case management this is fcking awesome. Case managers only get salary.

I'm going to accept the job but still have some grace period to retract if something else comes that's bigger.

First interview and I got it. I think I'm grateful for that. Don't wanna keep interviewing tbh unless it's something in the 50's +

I only have my associates so.. I gotta go with what I got lol

I gotta do a background check and shit. So, I shouldn't put my two weeks in. I gotta return the offer letter tomorrow to which they'll probably tell me a start date I'm guessing.

My boss and I are so cool he doesn't even care if I put a two weeks in lol.
