I've long philosophized about this, although not in a any religious manner.

I just think a lot of human concerns are so lowly, especially in relation to the universe as a whole.

It's aight but NZ wilderness is a lot better and a lot more accessible for me. The weather can be a bit bad sometimes but I tend to go on a hike every weekend if the weather is good.

Just went wine tasting over the weekend and then went for a nice hike to the top of a peak the next day. Had a bad cold so I struggled a bit but I think it helps with the cold. Only a 5 hr drive from where I live.

It's so good for mental health. Cooped up in suburbs is bad. More hikes, less shootings.

don't quote me on this, but i remember reading green trees calm your mind. i think couple that with physical exercise and i'm sure it's very healthy for the mind and body.

i love me some walks in the forest. there's a place in AZ with a mile high view that i like a lot:

I remember my first time driving from Farmington, NM to Arizona and I thought I'd see nothing but desert but I think I drove right through the park where that photo was taken and didn't realize Arizona had that going on.

Wish I would've taken more advantage of that when I lived in that area. Man I need to get to AZ. :lol

:oldlol: a lot of people think AZ is just desert, it's not, we have large forests up north. that view is only a 2hr drive from Phoenix.
