they can't spam p'n'r and chuck 3s all day like they do in the joke nba. international ball is more like the old school nba- traditional big men, post ups, mid range, physical. the modern nba player isn't equipped to deal with that.

it's why a player like melo, hate him or love him, dominates international ball. he has a mid range and post game, something severely lacking in most nba stars today. the james harden model is great for the nba, not so much in international ball.
