I'm a letter carrier with USPS and a guy I work with is going to inherit $750K in about 8 months, on his 24th birthday :wtf:
Left to him by his grandmother who died a few weeks ago :(
That's a crazy amount of money :confusedshrug:
Anyone else ever inherit a large chunk of cash?
Please, I wish. That just doesn't happen where I come from.

you need to kill him and take his money..... it's what his grandmother wanted, this is her plan all along.
she wants him to join her in hell

guarantee he will spend all that money by the end of the year
My grandparents have like 6 grandkids and 4 kids of their own. I doubt I'll see anything but according to them any money from life insurance will be divided for the grandkids (myself). One of their daughters taking care of them took over the life insurance in Canada and she put herself as the only person to get the money. Little battle over that but I can careless.
On my mom's side my grandparents probably don't have anything but life insurance which I doubt we'll see.
People who come into money like that especially that much are lucky

I had a neighbor who inherited $400,000 and blew through it in less than 2 years.

Yea I mean everyone dies so most people will prol come into a lil chunk at least but u gotta be mad frugal w that shit because that's their whole life's work. My uncle was a vet n spent 20 years in a wheel chair after a serious stroke before he died. He died and he had willed his shit to me. He was in govt stuff so he had almost nothing but it was like 500 bucks or 2k or something. I almost cried. It's like why did u choose me and again when you think of it that someone is willing part or all of their lives valuables to you to be like o yeee we getting BMW is so ignorant and shitty.
People really need to think but I guess a lot of family doesnt love each other.

It's just money. If you inherit spend it. Either blow through it or invest it and live off of it(not the 2k, but 750k is fine). Keeping it under the pillow, because it was x's lifesavings is stupid. It will just lose value that way.
I inherited my grandmothers car, a VW, and it saved my ass. Loved the car, but I had a crash after I had it for 3 years. If I had the same crash in the car I own now I probably would've died or had series injuries.
