would he have still been found out as he is now?

In the sense would he be in the same position that he is now.

Did his injuries make him worse on defense or was he always so bad at that end? What part of his game suffered because? Because his athleticism and scoring ability is intact.

I just don't get why this guy is being tossed around the league now. And I am trying to imagine where would he have been as a player if not for the ACL tears.

He was always this bad on defense. Even the year he scored 20 and looked good, the bucks got better once he went out and Middleton came back

Kristaps Porziņģis's been getting quite the hype, but who knows, maybe he could have been the Damian Lillard Forward

He's seen as a possible role player at best now. His defensive issues have him struggling to be seen even as that. If he doesnt get in max shape and work on his D he could be out of the league in 12 months

He would have been a problem on offense but he was a black hole on defense with no instinct for intangibles really. He would be a good and efficient 15-20ppg but it wouldn't have impact unless there is a real leader on his team.

So basically consensus is that injures havent changed his career trajectory that much :(
