Are you using "GOAT" in the hyperbolic sense here? Chappelle is an ATG, but #1? No way.

Chappelle eating good off that Netflix $$$$ :applause:

What was it 60 mill for 3 stand ups?

Never bought a TV series DVD collection in my life except The Chappelle Show s1 + s2

Its comedy, subjective. I'd put him in my top 3.

I've never seen anyone that I've found funnier. Not hyperbolic.

His delivery is unmatched... which, to me... is like 90% of comedy. Chris Rock had some moments up there too, but Chappelle is it. I'm not into Richard Pryor, Murphy, Carlin or the other guys from yesteryear... I've seen them all... there are a few decent ones nowadays like Louis CK but he's no Chappelle.

You know who the worst is in relation to their level of fame?

Kevin Hart. That ****ing guy isn't funny at all. I can't believe how big he's gotten, no pun intended. He's not funny... he ****ing sucks.

Well, out of the guys anyways. I don't count women. They're basically handicapped in this arena. They're awful.

Bill Burr is the GOAT imo. Wish there was more Damon Wayans stuff out there, he's my #2. Chapelle would probably round out my 3.

+1 Kevin Hart isn't funny at all.. only watchable in some movies.

Dave is definitely up there top 3, seen him live he's amazing.
Burr is great, older Russell Peters, Jim Jeffries, Seinfeld, Louis ck

Hard to pick a GOAT

Agreed about Kevin Hart. He sucks.

For me it's Louis CK alone at the top.

I loved Bill Hicks, but not as the funniest - he was more the entertainer with the important things to say... who just also happened to be kinda funny.

Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor deserve recognition for pushing the boundaries of their time.

But wait... aren't you supposed to be racist? How can you have a black man as the greatest stand-up comic?

As for Louis CK...

Hahaha. One of my favorite segments. Quite an inside joke with a friend of mine... literally every single time someone does something stupid/immature that could have easily been done for the betterment of others/the group at the "sacrifice" of their own comfort because they had to be somewhat sensible or responsible... this segment pops into my head. Literally every single day of my life.

I love his delivery so much. And how dark he tends to be. No one is better at plainly speaking about death.

Chappelle is great at delivering black comedy to a white audience, and white comedy to a black audience.

I mean that's pretty much his thing, afterall he grew up blue collar with two parents that were college professors in a good family. Now lives in rural Ohio surrounded by all white folk

His clever and wit comes from the best of both worlds

Him and Eddie Murphy are my top 2
