View Full Version : Did Kyrie's Teammates Fail Him?

I rewatched some of the games the Celtics played, especially in the post season and they were absolutely dreadful outside of Kyrie and Al Horford.

Kyrie did not play as aggressive as he did with the Cavs because he wanted to incorporate his teammates but they really didn't live up to expectations. I hope they bounce back though I was high on Tatum but he was dreadful at times and Jaylen Brown was practically benched.

Their defense wasn't the same without Smart for stretches and their offense was stagnant and for some reason players like Smart, Tatum, Rozier, and Morris loved their contest long two pointers. It was a mess.

Kyrie did the right thing leaving and I hope the Nets provide much better options for him to flourish and shine.

I think he was way too passive but let's be real he wanted to get his teammates involved and they were a dumpster fire.

Was he really that passive though? He took the 2nd most FT attempts, 2nd most 3's, and by far, the most shots per game in the series

Dude's terrible defense lead to easy buckets for the Bucks. He also iso'd way too much that series and struggled to get into any groove.
