Tastes like absolute dog shit.
I saw a fitness video saying add it to oatmeal for taste & more fiber... well I did and it's ****ING TERRIBLE.
HOLY **** the only way it doesn't taste like shit is if I drown it in sugar, which goes against the dietary benefits. ****ing trash ass bullshit.
**** canned pumpkin and anyone who likes it.

Yep. It's almost dog food-esque.
What are the GOAT foods which are both healthy and taste good on their own?

**** all those health videos. When I want to eat "clean" for a while or a bit better I eat nothing at all the whole day and have a steak and veggies for dinner. When youre old you have to worry about inflammation and im not eating some Tom Brady ass diet. I improve my diet by eating nothing at all.....then one pretty non processed meal....ill work out. Hop on my treadmill. Lift weights. Take my vitamins and maybe get a smoothie with some protein from a place by my job.
But ill be damned if im eating oatmeal and scoops of canned pumpkin.

I honestly don't understand why people have such a hard time eating healthy.
Fresh fruits and salads are delicious. Fish is delicious. Beans and nuts are delicious.

Fish eaten often isn't exactly healthy because everything in the ocean is poisoned to **** all because we are trash, no?
As for the rest... more expensive than eating food sold in bulk such as oats, rice, eggs, etc.
Beans I guess, but are they really that delicious? Plus they're super carb heavy.
There's so much information and misinformation on what is good for you and what isn't, it's a total mind****. I don't even know what to believe.
I will say though that it's completely unreal that it's soon to be the year 2020 and there isn't a clear road map to healthy dieting. Maybe different people respond to different foods differently... maybe that's why. Aside from industrial lobbying, I don't even know. ****.

Yes. Dog shit. If you turn it into a pie loaded with sugar, sure, whatever. But out of the can? Even after cooking it? Without loading in the sugar? NOPE.

Fruit and salad sure. At least salads are once you add unhealthy things. Fish? Eh. Beans? Eh. Nuts are solid....pecans and walnuts aside.
I think what it really is...humans are still geared towards terrible foods because they help you gain weight and we still have a caveman mind in a modern world without a need to hunt or gather.
The things that are bad for you....taste good to you. Just how it is.
Im never gonna eat that healthy....I just dont eat very much and I work out a lot to keep loose.
I'll get home and run on the treadmill while I watch some hour long show(put a little 32 inch tv in the extra bedroom my workout stuff is in).
All I drink all day.....2 cups of coffee then water. I usually eat nothing from 4am till dinner...which is after I run and/or lift.....so my dinner is whatever I want.
If I cook its pretty "clean" usually. If I buy something its usually a sandwich so I wont vouch for how processed it is or isnt.
But generally? I dont feel I eat that unhealthy.
The only thing I ever eat before dinner is whatever fruit is in my fridge. Sometimes cherries....maybe melon of some kind. I have some apricots in there now which let me down. Mealy as ****.
If they were good....id eat them. But as it is? Ive had nothing today but water and will probably have ribs for dinner....because **** it.
I doubt I eat anything but my fridge fruit and dinner more than two times a week. I may eat something around lunch on saturday if im out with people and on tuesdays I sometimes get a smoothie when everyone goes to lunch. Groups go to the Jersey Mikes(sub place) near our job for the tuesday special and its right near a smoothie king so I just get that.
But the other 5 days a week its pretty much fasting till late afternoon when I eat some fruit between workouts.

There is quite literally no greater pet peeve of mine than someone who will scoff at me when I get turkey burger and then a side of broccoli instead of fries, but then turn around and bitch about how they need to lose weight.

i just make sure to eat a somewhat healthy breakast. brown rice, greek yogurt, amaranth, apple sauce and a tablespoon of real greek olive oil. it covers all bases - fat, carbs, protein and both types of fiber. it keeps me on a good shitting schedule. for lunch, i usually have a sandwich or salad with a keifer, and whatever the lady puts in front of us @ night - usually either a three course meal, a plate of some type of pasta... it's usually something somewhat quick and cheap. we splurge eating out once a week.
so ya - i say be mindful of a heavy & healthy breakfast, go light for lunch and max out for dinner with whatever u love. it's your reward after a long day, and besides - u only live once.

Pumpkin taste nice with honey if it's in a sweet dish.
Taste nice with chilies, onion, olive oil, cilantro if it's in a savory MExican/Indian dish.

I eat healthy in comparison to the avg fat ass American but then I ruin it when I get stoned in the evenings and snack out. The worst time to do so.
