I live 10 min outside DT Cleveland and VZ/ATnT or their sub contractors continue to stall laying fibre around communities


Despite paying a grip in ISP, i'm governed to around 175mbs tops for pretty much the same cost fibre consumers pay

Not me. Southern California stays lacking, unless you're in LA/SD proper. But my ISP finally rolled out "gigabit" over DOCSIS 3.1, which is something. Although it's unfortunately not symmetric; around 940/35 I think. And a bullshit $200 installation fee. No data caps at least though.

What is fibre speeds, up to 1000 or more now? 940 is still fast as fck

I have no problem doing 720p-1080 - anything in 4k starts to buff though

Mines capped pretty high but if I binge watch flix/hulu/prime it starts to get close. $10 fine per gig after that
