For Jordan, I would probably go

1991
1993
1992
1997
1998
1996

I always thought game 2 of the 91’ Finals was one of the best games Jordan ever played. He did a brilliant job in the first half of playmaking and making pinpoint passes and has insanely efficient when it came to scoring for himself. 33 points and 13 assists on 15/18 from the field. Overall he put us 31.2/6.6/11.4 on 56% and 61.2 TS%. He also averaged 2.8 steals and 1.4 blocks.

It’s either that or 93’, when he put up 41/8.5/6.3 on 51% FG and 55.8% TS. 92’ was amazing as well, averaging 35.8/4.8/6.5 on 53% FG and 61.7% TS. 98’ had the memorable ending but he was better all the way through in 97’. The last play in game 5 was designed for Kukoc as he had been great that game, and Jordan’s shooting was off. So Jordan steps in front of Kukoc to catch the inbounding pass to take the last shot. :oldlol:

96’ was definitely the weakest of his finals performances.

LeBron’s best was 16’ and then 12’. At the bottom would be 11’. His numbers may have been worse in 07’, but 11’ was the worst performance. Not sure how I would rank the middle ones in order.

Not sure how I would rank Magic’s 9 finals performances in order. I know 87’ would be at the top. He was amazing all the way through.

88’ was sort of similar to 80’ in the sense that Magic was better than Worthy throughout the whole series, but Worthy had an all-time classic performance in game 7’ and won finals MVP. Kareem had an amazing series in 80’, including a 40/15 game after he turned his ankle and sealed the game with a dunk over Doc. Then Magic had an all-time classic performance in game 6. Game 3 of the 88’ finals was an absolute clinic on passing. Magic in that game just made so many great passes.

Magic’s worst finals was 89’ since he got injured midway through game 2. I still think the injuries to Magic & Scott robbed us of a potential classic series. Pistons still win in 6 or maybe 7, but it would have been a great series. One thing about 84’ is that he had played so well throughout but had those brain farts when it really mattered, as well as missed FTs. Worthy also had played great in games 2 and 4, but he really screwed up with that pass to Henderson. He actually was brilliant in game 4 OT but had that one missed FT.

I guess I would go with

1987
1980
1985
1988
1982
1984
1991
1983
1989

For Kobe

2002- just a very strong performance throughout.
2009
2010- as much as people give him crap for his shitty shooting performance in game 7, he played well throughout the series
2001
2008
2000- injuries hurt him, but he did come up big late in game 4
2004- played terrific in game 2 and that’s about it. Detroit D was amazing

Wade's 2006 Finals against Dallas where he came back from almost down 0-3 is probably better than any of these players' Finals performances.

I liked the drama of almost going down 0-3 and then the total takeover of the series by Wade. Brilliant.

Imo Jordan's first 3peat and LeBron's 2016 were better
