Sending their best and brightest :facepalm

For the first time in history more Mexican(not hispanic) nationals were arrested by feds on US soil than US citizens. In 1998 around 1200 Central Americans were arrested by the feds in the US. In 2018 almost 40000 were.

Let's ignore the problem, offer no solution and point fingers at ourselves because as everyone knows, facts are racist. Trying to stop the problem is racist.

It's stupid to think the people we invite into this country should be equal or better than us.

u have a tribalistic congress to blame for not getting anything done on the immigration front - not everyday conservatives and liberals bickering back & forth at each other on reddit/twitter/ish.

care that much about it? then run for office.

Like I pointed out to you before, tarriffs are in effect, some of them directly tied to Mexico securing their own border and immigration traffic. Mexico is already paying up

Trump's legacy will get shredded for a lot of things he's done and has come to light after his presidency. I have no doubt about this. But he will be hailed for his immigration response years from now when Democrats finally realize that unchecked immigration has brought the quality of life for US Citizens, especially African Americans, so far down that they will have to take drastic measures themselves. Of course they won't do it with a Republican president in the WH. They are too busy falling all over themselves screaming "racist" atm.

That's right. And Obama also sought to extend the stay of CHILDREN held by the border patrol just like Trump. But Trump equals Hitler for this. Obama has his Nobel Peace Prize polished :oldlol: You expect me to condemn Obama for doing a good job deporting people whether he's doing a better job or not than Trump? Try again.

Democrats weren't protecting illegal criminals in their cities from the feds under Obama like they are under Trump. Obama could have the same immigration plan as Trump and he would receive cooperation from the majority of Democrats, obviously not all but most. The Dems have made border protection a partisan issue :(

This is true. I can't even say that Republicans didn't stand in the way of Obama's immigration plan. Those globalist Koch Brothers were lobbying the Republican party for a more open immigration plan. A lot more slimy Republicans would have taken their money and ran if they just didn't have that pesky problem of being accountable to their voters.

somebody had to win, i suppose.

who would've thunk it doe- mexico has been winning so much, they are sick of winning.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico posted its largest current account surplus on record and the first in nine years, lifted by robust foreign trade with the United States as President Donald Trump waged a bitter tariff dispute with China, official data showed on Friday.

In the second quarter, Mexico ran up a current account surplus of $5.143 billion, the biggest since current records began in 1980, and equivalent to 1.6% percent of gross domestic product (GDP), central bank figures showed.

Mexico has this year become the top trading partner of the United States thanks to Trump's protracted feud with Beijing. Mexico sends about 80% of its exports, much of which are goods such as cars and televisions, to the United States.

mexico = seeing record profits from 'murrica, while sending record numbers of not the best people to 'murrica.

boiled down- we're paying them handsomely for their illegal population.

meanwhile, we're about to hit a trill on the deficit charts.

Yup. Like I mentioned already in this thread and others. Mexico is the biggest winner in our China trade war. And if Trump is reelected it's only the tip of the iceberg for Mexico's fortunes. So he's not going to tarriff them into oblivion, the US still has plenty of tariffs in place already with them. Their economy was suffering. The China trade war has been a godsend to them. China is a bigger fish to deal with than Mexico atm. Trump playing chess, while you have your mind on checkers.

mexico = record surpluses from 'murrican dollars, sending record amounts of illegals to 'murrica. told the emperor to go f*ck himself (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=404nIIxiGFQ) when he demanded the check for the big, beautiful wall.

'murrica = trillion dollar deficits and record breaking illegals flooding in. no wall.

are we tired of winning yet, folks?

My hope is that conditions improve in Mexico enough that people decide to stay in Mexico rather than force their way to the USA. We have to invest in Mexico and countries bordering Mexico to bring up their economies. It will improve their conditions and make them less likely to leave for the USA

Nation building, eh? Tell me... how is that any different than what we're doing in the middle east minus the bloodshed? How's that working out for us? How are the countries doing that we've liberated from evil dictators and how are they handling "freedom"? LMAO.

You can't force people to be better... you know what... forget about being better... you can't force people to behave different ways without a threat of violence looming over their heads. They must do it themselves.

Their cultures and ideals are deeply ingrained and that's why things are the way they are in those countries. It takes generations and it takes time. Cultures change in their own due time. They don't change from outside forces as a result of those outside forces telling them to do things a certain way.

Absolutely ridiculous.

so you're saying low lives from third world countries that came to this country illegally are acting like low lives from third world countries thus turning America into a third world shithole?
