We discussed it on here in some topic on random thoughts I had but not seriously. It was just to figure out how much power it would take to do it. We found that a Katrina level storm produces as much mechanical energy as all of humanity has in like the last 200 years and decided it would be stupid to try even if 1,000 nukes at once might work. You just wipe out the coastlines with fallout at best. People(scientists) ran the numbers to see a few wouldnt do it decades ago. Hauling a giant glacier into the path of one to cool the water would actually be more effective if I remember correctly. Not that it would work either.

Ive thought of a lot of weird shit....but id like to think id know when not to bring them up. Like.....to people seriously tasked with the safety of the country.
