Beautiful.

I used to cry anytime I heard it.

I played it for my daughter tonight and she had to hold back tears.

I used it as a teaching tool to tell her to always keep family first, especially her brother, and never let the outside world dictate who she is and to never let their disgusting judgments change her.

Also, I know this is cliche and propaganda on some level but I cry and tear up frequently during wonderful renditions of the star spangled banner if it's mostly vocals and not over the top...

When people really believe it as they sing it, it can be touching.

Can make me think of all the people that sacrificed their lives so I could live so undeservedly.

I'm watching Fightclub right now.

Brilliant movie.

great song - i used to love hearing it come on the radio when i was a kid in the nineties. of course i didn't understand it until much later. they don't make substantive songs like this anymore. here's something similar - but on the momma side:

I will probably find out when my father dies, but I hope it just passes right by. I would rather find out years after the fact.

It's only been eleven months since I spoke to him, but as far as I know, he's already dead.

Dance with my Father by Luther Vandross kills me thinking about my pops dying

Wind beneath my Wings is depressing as **** too depending on who sings it. I hope it’s sang at mine by my children

The song at the end of Ladder 49 is sad too

This song was released less than 3 months before your pops Terry died but didn't really take off in the US charts until right around the same time he had his car accident. Are you sure it's the same song? You were only 6 years old at the time.

And why was he living in Stone Mountain Georgia when you guys were with your mom in Gainesville?

Once again, this is why I would never reveal ID in this cesspool. What a creepy weirdo.

He posts more than that.

I kid you not we have a resident poster that has at least 50 aliases because our admin is probably the laziest admin on the internet.

As for the post you quoted... we could all obtain that information with literally less than 5 minutes of googling... not exactly creepy... he just dressed it up with as much theatrical as he could.
