I have often stated that the main reason I detest and loathe Lebron, is that he is a fraud, a liar.

Not personally, though he may be, I don't know, but in that Lebron being called a GOAT or even anywhere near that is a big, fat lie.

When that lie is being pushed by billion dollar media, then wtf is really going on?

A lot of things are not what you've been told they are.

NBA players are not "athletic superstars who are in a different league than euroballers".

It's a lie.

It's a manufactured lie, to demotivate you and make you more pliable, more likely to cheer like a cuck with cheetos and beer in front of the telly.

Less likely to go out and do something. Less likely to compete on your own terms. Have pride in yourself and people like you.

Sports, tv, Hollywood, porn. In American, these things don't exist to entertain you, but to make your depressed and weak.

That's why I hate Lebron, he is a willing participant in a coordinated attack on truth.

Totally agree.

I can't stand the fake narrative and fakeness of him himself.

Factor in the lack of integrity and things like passive aggressive behaviour, colluding/always needing more help and being a back stabbing little b1atch, there's nothing to like.

Real people see right through it, his stans are literally not very bright basketball people.

Yeah that's it isn't it.

Also, disregard most of the OP, I was under the influence of morphine.

I don't hate LeBron even though he is definitely a self promoter.

I think sports media coverage is more ubiquitous than ever and it is all about ratings. It is not surprising that sports media would want to claim that the current NBA is better than it is, that the current best teams are better than they are, and that the current best players in the NBA are better than they are.

Trust me. As soon as a new star truly emerges, the media is going to eat that player up as are fans and you won't see this kind of polarization. We saw that super briefly with Steph. People loved the dude. He was in slow motion commercials and other stuff. He was becoming the face of the NBA. But he just didn't have the overall basketball ability to back it up and was exposed in several finals and obviously could not be considered the best in the league, so that experiment died.

Giannis is the best hope the NBA and people that care about the NBA has. He will have to avoid the kiss of death of either demanding a trade to join an established super star or super team and of course avoiding being part of a FA super team as well. That leaves out most of the other top NBA players. Giannis will need to improve, but he has the potential to at least be the "greatest" player since Shaq.

To care this much about someone who plays a game is just laughably pathetic. Do you, though, bro.

Only people who really, really care write stuff like you just did bro. I can smell the passive, aggressive RealGM through the screen.

OP you do raise a good point when you say society encourages a spectator culture which is absolutely correct.

the mistake you make is that you falsely use that as evidence for your point that NBA stars aren't hyperathletic - which is pretty crazy because that's fairly self evident when you watch them play.
