Chances are he is a wimp, and she is fat and ugly. Usually it's fat and ugly women who can't control their spending in this way - they spend all of their time chasing luxuries to compensate for their own lack of self-esteem. If he wasn't a wimp, he would have no problem establishing dominion over his own income. And if she wasn't fat and ugly, she wouldn't be with a wimp.

My wife is nowhere close to the lady in the Reddit post however she does not work and therefor will not receive a retirement. The money I make and my retirement are all we have. She will be able to draw half of my Social Security however I do not plan on that being solvent when I retire. The money I am diverting is solely an extra retirement fund for both of us.

She really is not that bad when it comes to spending other than liking to take big trips every year. I make a lot of money these days yet I do not want us to start living a richer lifestyle that may delay my retirement. I would rather live richer post retirement.
