Jordan doesn't even know how to tip, let alone support charities

"I remember a night when Wayne Gretzky insulted Michael Jordan at the table. It was a private salon game. Michael had ordered a drink from the cocktail waitress, and he gave her a five-dollar chip. Wayne took it off the cocktail waitress's tray, gave it back to Michael, grabbed a hundred-dollar chip from Michael's stack and put it on the cocktail waitress's tray. Then he said, "That's how we tip in Las Vegas, Michael."

Lol at Gretzky trying to show off.

MJ had the right idea, no way should you tip some waitress 100 just for doing her job:facepalm

He made it clear he wasn’t talking about on the court. I guess he’s like Jim Brown who was always complaining that Jordan didn’t use his position for good. Apparently it’s hard to understand why some people just want to do their job and shut the **** up. No doubt Jordan had a massive platform but if you don’t feel like making political statements you certainly shouldn’t have to.

Boom.

Jordan doesn't really advertise his philanthropy. Here's a sample of what he's done over the years.

https://www.nba.com/article/2019/02/15/jordan-week-michael-jordan-philanthropy

Most likely Bernie doesn't even realize how much MJ has done for people.

MJ once said Republicans buy shoes too so he cares more about losing money by speaking out :confusedshrug:

First LeBron campaigns for Mob Boss Hillary Clinton and now the Socialist Czar identifies with him. Not a good look.

I don't mind athletes speaking up but I prefer ones that actually know what they are talking about. We need less LeBron James and more Burgess Owens (https://www.amazon.com/Why-Stand-Freedom-Killing-Socialism/dp/1682617394/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=burgess+owens&qid=1568504435&s=gateway&sr=8-2).

Please. That story is amusing from an all-time greats hanging out and measuring their penises perspective, but tipping $100 for a drink no matter how rich you are is just stupid.

"Sanders said he would chose LeBron James over Michael Jordan, but it had nothing to do with on-court arguments. Sanders chose LeBron because he believes James touches on topics other athletes would shy away from and also his investment in public education."

Respectable opinion. If he thought LeBron had achieved basketball greatness, that would be a problem.

My, we're desperate huh? So now some old politician's opinion on hoops matters? Not Ray Allen's, who played against MJ, played against and with LeBron and flat out said that MJ > Bran...

Don't know about you but IMO, Allen's opinion carries infinitely more weight...convince me that Sanders opinion is worth more than Ray Ray, g'head, take a crack at it.

When did Kareem ever say that? He basically said in an article earlier this year that there is no GOAT.
