22.8ppg on 42% on a 45-win team

24.1ppg on 41.6% on a 41-win team

25.0ppg on 41.1% on a 38-win team

and so on.
Jason trying to score more would have hurt the team, whitey.
Just like every other low efficiency shoot first PG.

wow how could you not care about Jason Williams:confusedshrug:

that's like not caring about basketball

and how can you sit there and act like he couldn't score ten more points if he had actually tried to score?

what are you doing on a basketball discussion board?

fakkitsBe less sensitive yo.
Is jason more likable/entertaining than Marbury/Francis/MontaeEllis/etc ?
Yes.

But would he hurt his team by jacking up more shots with his poor shot selection ?
Definitely.

Bibby was a better team player with less flash but also less weaknesses and better decision making.

Jason was quite engaging and likable, but I must admit Marbury is likable as well. Bibby is a smarter player in a way and yeah, probably a bit better as a team player, but to say that any of these guys could make the passes that Jason made seems quite absurd.

Is he still as likable? F#@k no.

SLAM Magazine fvcked up big time not including him in their 500 NBA players all time. Kind of strange; you'd wonder how such an oversight could have happened.

His efficiency was already horrendous lmao. Now it’s gonna stay the same or go up on much greater volume?

lol His efficiency was atrocious so why would you want him to shoot more? As it is, he was ALREADY SHOOTING TOO MUCH. When he averaged a career high 14.8ppg he did it on 15.2 shots. For his career he averaged 10.5ppg on 9.8 shot attempts.

Why would anyone want that? For him to score ten more points he'd be taking the same amount of more shots, basically. Making fancy passes doesn't make you a good player. He only had a positive BPM two years of his career and it was just barely with a 0.3 and 0.1.

He’s a career 10.5 PPG guy on 39.8% but somehow you think he was capable of 25 PPG on 41.1% :biggums:

Good question I actually thought about putting him in my top 5 for most skilled players of all time. Dude was sick skill wise. He'd be a better fit for this era for sure but it's hard to say what he score. He wasn't an amazing shooter but I'd say probably around 17- 20 a game

He was a mini Curry, except he always bricked his 3's.

Jason Williams is clearly one of the top 500 NBA players of all time. Anyone who knows much about basketball can see this, and if they deny it, then something is up. Perhaps they are racist against whites.

Not best most skilled. Skill wise he was as good as anyone. He just didn't have the size, athleticism and intelligence to go along with his skills to help him be a great player.
