The little mom and pop place in my old neighborhood charges you 10 cents for a plastic bag. Paper bag is free but it won’t hold multiple boxes of food so if you get like 3 plates to go they charge you for a plastic bag. They started charging for refills years ago. The margins are crazy thin at places like that though. It’s hard to put a McDonald’s out of business.

I bought a sundae the other day at mcdonalds through the drive thru and they didn't have peanuts so I went over to another one nearby and was prepared to buy the peanuts(3 packets) and the lady tells me they don't sell them :facepalm .. I don't know about the sauces, but for some reason they're always stingy with the peanuts in my experience .. are peanuts scarce or some shit

I would sometimes go to McDonald's before work around 15 years ago. They charged for Sweet & Sour sauce, and I would sometimes buy extra. So I don't think it's a new thing.
