I don't think they ever formally apologized to the mamba. Were they worried that it would make Lebron ringless?

They allowed the collusion with Bosh and Wade but wouldn't allow Kobe to play with CP3.

It would have been the best teammate CP3 ever got to play with. Unfortunately the league was too worried about Kobe pulling off a 3 peat with CP3 and how bad that would make lebron look.

They were sick of a big market team (Lakers) dominating the league. They did send CP3 to LA but I feel like they did it just to spite us.

the problem is players aren't required to apologize to team owners for not performing

Did Kobe ever apologized to the league for Colorado?

I've settled after Kobe's retirement with just having a simple boxing match between Kobe and Stern. It needs to be done for the sake of the game and for my peace of mind. I haven't looked at the league the same way since 2011. The 2012 sabotage to sink both the Lakers and the Celtics and make way for the young OKC Big 3, and Bran was one of the most disgusting things I've ever witnessed in any sport.

Anyone who thinks Kobe and CP3 would have worked is extremely low IQ. Kobe forced Steve Nash to become a spot up shooter, he didn’t mesh well with Gary Payton, but sure, he’d be great with ball dominant Chris Paul

Also, idiotic fans still don’t get that the NBA owned the Hornets at the time and could veto trades for that reason only.

I hate the revisionist history on that trade.

So now your bball IQ is > Kobe's now?

Kobe knew what would and wouldn't work for him hence him being the one to suggest the trade in the first place.

Also let's not forget this:
