Kd is really good at basketball.

It'll be a shame if he can't get back to what he was, but he should still be able to shoot over people and have big value. The difference is probably 25 and 30+ ppg. Elite defense or decent defense.

I do blame the wars for his injury. Who knows if it might not have happened later, but even tho they didn't wanna get owned, they were already getting owned and they needed to keep him out. Any smart franchise would have. Hard to imagine they would have treated someone like Steph in the same way.

It would have been more arguable if he lasted longer. But there was no way he should have been playing and everyone knows that.

essentially Kerr is saying that when deep into the playoffs, coaches can only present to you the tendencies of your opponents, it's up to the players to neutralize risks

Kevin Durant left the Thunder because he wanted to be a part of a system. When he got that, he left because they weren’t playing enough heroball. :oldlol: the guy is a clown and more embarrassingly he flip flops like a woman. Any word uttered from his mouth should not be taken seriously. Of course, that is all without mentioning the fact that without the system he is complaining about made his career, or else he would be going into the history books as a glorified loser.

I've been saying this for awhile now but most Steph fans are in denial about this fact. It's why Steph has a harder time deep in playoffs and especially in the finals. He relies heavily on the warriors system. A shit ton of Screens and constant movement basically. When defences are disciplined, switching well and don't have a slow big for Steph to switch on and take advantage of the pre kd warriors struggle like they did against LeBron's Cavs. This is when kd was valuable for the warriors because he didn't need screens to get a look or a switch on a slower defender. He can get a look almost anytime on anybody.

Warriors were lucky to win the one they did in 15 and now that kd is gone they'll never win another one.

Even if Thats true they still had a run any team would die for, coming out of nowhere, and were a dynasty/all time great team that will forever be remembered.

Yup this is why Steph is a mediocre to poor playoff performer

Specially in the finals.....gets outplayed by a teammate EVERY time

Iggy in 15, Draymond in 16, KD in 17/18, Klay in 19.....can't make this sht up

They could win another one if they face massive injuries to multiple key players (specially starting PGs/AS players) every round like they did in 2015

kd is a bitch but he's clearly the superior player when compared to curry

ehh, all you dudes that went crazy cuz of KD joining a '73 win team' can't say that GSW wasn't a dynasty. They had a really great run, choked one year and had catastrophic injuries another. They won a ton of games and were unquestionably the best team in the NBA during that span. I dunno what more you gotta do to be a dynasty...

They were just one of the greatest teams of all time, right, but not a dynasty.

That’s why guys like Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant are who they are. They can transcend any defense. But defenses in the playoffs, deep in the playoffs, combined with the physicality of the game — where refs can’t possibly call a foul every time — means that superstars have to take over.

Notice how Kerr doesn't mention Lebron

That's because Lebron's teams don't run dynasty systems like the Warriors, 90's Bulls, or 00's Lakers - his ball-dominance prevents the necessary ball-movement to run these kinds of elite systems that win the most... Instead, his ball-dominance limits his team to lebron-ball, lower ceilings and 3/9

Yeah, I brought lebron into it, but it's certainly meaningful why Kerr omitted Lebron

Probably figures there's no harm in putting Lebron at #2.. it won't upset the applecart .. he knows that most people base their rankings on raw talent, so those 2 are good choices based on the criteria of most fans use

But the reality is that anyone who puts Lebron anywhere near MJ does it in the most tepid of ways .. Saying that he's among the 2 best players he's seen is Kerr's euphemism for "he's not goat"

Otoh, when people say MJ is goat, there's no qualification.. heck, f uck goat - bird called him god

shut up bitch. you were arguing curry is as good as prime lebron and that is factually false. FYI if you keep drooling on yourself I advise you invest in a bib, you'll ruin less shirts that way. :D

That's not what Kerr said though. He said "they're the two, two best players that I've ever witnessed." Not "among" as you falsely claim. "the two best".

He also said five years ago LeBron was top five all time and since then he seems to have gotten ten times better.
