Kawhi carried a group of SCRUBS to a FINALS WIN, he took out better opponents than LeBron EVER DID getting there including a stacked 76ers team, Bucks elite team, etc

LeBron ALWAYS had 2 elite players on his 3 rings.. Kawhi never had ANYONE for his Raptors ring

Easy

Lebron: Beat the greatest team ever

Kawhi: Beat a team that consisted of an injured Klay, Curry, Iggy, Durant, Cousins, and Looney

Bucks, led by a guy who can't hit a jumper. Immediately crumble when Toronto walls off the paint for his drives. Zero post season success. Only one year removed from getting embarrassed by starless Celtics.

Sixers, embarrassed even worse by those starless Celtics. Their PG is an even worse shooter than Giannis, basically useless against a good defensive team. Their star center was fat and out of shape and couldn't stay on the floor without getting gassed.

Warriors were missing their best player and their fourth best player was busted up and missed the critical part of game six. That's just the tip of the injury iceberg that shredded the Warriors in the finals and Toronto still barely got by them.

The Raptors were so deep and stacked they won at a higher percentage when Kawhi sat than they did when he played. The were a 59 win team without him last year and they upgraded at three starting positions this year. That's not counting Siakam's growth and addition by subtraction from getting rid of Derozen.

They haven't lost in the playoffs since 2015 except to LeBron led teams. That's three years beofore Kawhi arrived of showing they were a solid playoff team. That was a great roster that just needed a good leader.

What were those scrubs' records when he sat? They should miss the playoffs this year after losing both Kawhi and Green right? Like all of LeBron's teams go straight to the lottery when he leaves?

Kawhi barely beat a decimated warriors team. Durant literally didn't even play a full game.

How many finals games did Kawhi get outplayed by one of his "scrub" teammates?

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on 07' Lebron:

Giannis 19' ECF.n vs. Champs - 23/14/6 on 44.8 fg.. 23.7% on jumpers
Lebron. 07' Finals vs. Champs - 22/7/6.. on 35.6 fg.. 17.9% on jumpers

...which shows how much lebron gets a pass and another indication he's overrated

Durant didn't play in 2016, so that's moot

Dray cancels Klay

Bogut cancels Looney

Curry averaged 30.5 in 2019 versus 22.6 in 2016

Klay averaged 26.0 in 2019 versus 19.6 in 2016

No comparison.. despite attempts to change the facts, the historical record on the injuries is public record, so anyone can see that Curry/Klay were literally 10 ppg stronger in 2019, and Dray/Klay cancel.

No, they just didn't play Lebron-ball, so they were still decent without their star.. Any team that has 1 big ball-dominator (lebron-ball, harden-ball, westbrook-ball) will lose without their ball-dominator . It isn't just Lebron - the 06' Suns sucked without Nash - if a team employs the ball-dominant, CP3-Nash-Lebron brand, the team will lose without that player.. that's just how that brand works

Otoh, teams that don't have a ball-dominator (most champions) are playing good basketball moving the ball with or without their top guy... what makes their top guy great, is that he can come back and simply add his elite production right on top without taking away from anyone (i.e. he's elite both on-ball and off, so he fits with any player type - kawhi has this on-ball/off-ball capability, along with the other winners like curry, kobe, durant, MJ, bird)

Without LeBron around to intimidate him, obviously Curry’s scoring went up. People forget how terrified Curry was of LeBron before he had daddy Durant to hide behind.
