What a monster he was. Boxscore watchers may not understand his real value.

Everyone has highlights, but Pippen has the most number of horrible performances ever:
1988 PLAYOFFS:. 10.0 on 46.5%
1989 PLAYOFFS:. 13.1 on 46.2%
1990 ECF. vs. DET:. 16.6 on 42.8%
1992 ECSF vs NYN:. 16.0 on 40.2%
1993 RD 1 vs. ATL:. 15.0 on 42.2%
1995 ECSF vs ORL:. 19.0 on 40.9%
1996 ECSF vs NYN:. 15.6 on 33.0%
1996 FINAL vs SEA:. 15.7 on 34.3%
1997 RD 1 vs WAS:. 16.7 on 38.3%
1997 ECF. vs. MIA:. 16.8 on 41.7%
1998 ECFS vsN IND:. 16.6 on 39.2%
1998 FINAL vs UTA:. 15.7 on 41.0%
Pippen's defense only gave Bulls the 7th, 4th, and 7th best defenses from 91-93', so
why do we say Pippen's defense makes up for his many series of 15 ppg on 33-40%???
(bulls' defensive rankings from 1st three-peat are used because that's Pip's stand alone impact without Rodman)
Garnett, Duncan, Payton and others were equal or better defenders than Pippen, and we'd never accept 15 on 33% from them in their prime.. that would be massive black marks on their careers forever
Pippen's many horrific series should be looked at the same way (as black marks) - this would elevate MJ more for carrying the offense with goat scoring, while achieving the goat scoring in a system designed for role players (elevating teammates)..
Ultimately, MJ won as "the man" twice as much as anyone in modern history (6 rings to 3), while being #1 in PPG, efficiency rating, and 2-way accolades - but this unmatchable goat resume gets underrated because of shenanigans like overrating Pippen above the help that others had

When you are such an obsessed worthless fakkot you have to bury every single player who ever played with your crush. It's five years later and you are still spending hours upon the day with this bullshit. I digress, though. Be you , bro.

Voted one of the 50 greatest ever just 9 years into his career for a reason :applause:
Yeah because he was as lucky enough to land next to the goat, so his ordinary stats look extra special
Otherwise he'd be just another 17 ppg great athlete like Jeff Green... I'd say Jimmy Butler but Butler became a much better offensive player - Pippen needed MJ to give his Jeff Green scoring ability a 6-time champion ring to it
But guys like Garnett, Duncan, Payton and others were equal or better defenders than Pippen, yet we'd never accept 15 on 33% from them in their prime.. that would be massive black marks on their careers forever
Accordingly, Pippen's many horrific series should be looked at the same way (as black marks).. it's amazing that anyone could win 6 rings with such anemic offensive help from a #2 option.. you would think that a 6-time champion #2 option would average 27 or 29 like Wade/Kyrie.. not 15 on 33% many times over

There's a reason his the best SF of the 90's
Wade is the #2 shooting guard ever (excluding mj)
Pippen is nowhere near the #2 SF - Bird, Durant, Lebron, Kawhi, Dr. J.... So not even top 5... Elgin Baylor was also better (38/18) and many more
- could Pippen lead his team to the Finals twice, average 26 vs the Bad Boys, or 25-30 vs MJ and others?... So how can he match Drexler?...
- can he have numerous 55-win seasons and make the conference finals after beating Magic's 1 seed, while routinely getting 22/11 apg in his sleep?... - so how is he better than KJ??
- can he win FMVP or average 26 ppg as 1st option in various series over Kareem and Magic??.. So how is he better than worthy?
- Could he have a legendary duel with Bird in the playoffs like Dominique?
Ultimately, take the 6 rings away and just look at his game and stats - many guys were better, but they didn't get their resume boosted by the goat.. :confusedshrug:

Lebron can't win without a top 3 all-time SG, or the best 2nd option performance ever
and he needs a top 3 PF in the league as 3rd option on top of that
That's more help than MJ, even without considering bron's superior rim protection teammates and among the best 3-point shooting in the league... :facepalm ... It's not even close
It's so dumb for lebron fans to argue about supporting cast - no one had more help than LeDecision

You have it backwards
It's really hard to win with Phil - it requires MJ or Shaq/Kobe
Otherwise, it's a flop every other time it's been used - Ask Melo
And I have another one for you:
rings without a lethal closer at 2nd option that commanded doubles:
Bron - 0
MJ - 6

How many titles those dudes win without Phil?
MJ was the goat candidate, while Phil was a nobody first-time coach in 1990 and 1991 when they won their first title
NOBODY thought anything of Phil in 1991... Or 1992 for that matter - MJ won him those rings.. ur just a fool for saying some different shit 30 years later..
Phil was really fortunate that MJ's skillset was good enough to put the triangle on the map.. if MJ's skillset was CP3/Lebron-level, Phil wouldn't have even considered the triangle and would've instituted a more ball-dominant offense with lower ceiling and lower potential for role players to excel
Your "how many titles without Phil" logic wouldn't graduate high school son

if MJ's skillset was CP3/Lebron-level (ball-dominant), Phil wouldn't have even considered the triangle, and would've instituted a more ball-dominant offense with lower ceiling and lower potential for role players to excel
In other words, there'd be no triangle if Phil takes over a team with lebron in it instead of Jordan
So no 11 rings
11 rings was a function of the best offense/mechanism for spacing at the time (triangle), coupled with players that had sufficiently high skillsets (off-ball, post) to execute the requirements of the offense (continuous post entries, off-ball movement and ball movement)
So it's a good thing Phil had the 3 players with the highest offensive ceilings of the modern era... Anything less, such as a lower-caliber, ball-dominant skillset, wouldn't win shit with Phil

You do realize Phil had all those players throughout their best years? Of course they won all their titles with him. You expect Kobe to win one at age 17-19? You expect Shaq to take a roster to a championship in his mid-30s? You expect Jordan to win one in the 80s or on the Wizards?
