The thing is, people probably get the wrong impression of me here. Im honestly a pretty considerate, thoughtful person in real life. I dont bully people for pleasure.

But the problem in politics is people’s lack of self awareness causes them to take positions based on their emotions and personal frustrations, to support things the government has no business being involved in. And I cant stand for that, because their politics will eventually affect my life.

First of all, I believe in small, limited government, so I dont in theory have much concern for who specifically is in charge, bc I dont think they should be in charge of much.

But IF you support large government bureaucrats wielding power... then it only makes sense to want the people in charge to have as much in common with you as possible, because otherwise youre more likely to be at odds with the decisions they make. Why would a white male want a woman of color legislating their life? Or vice versa? Ofc the less government we have, the less of an issue that is for everyone.

But IF you support big government? You want to hand someone else authority to reign OVER YOU, and they have completely different interests, values, and agendas than you? That makes no natural sense. It’s basically a construct, for people like rrr3 to signal to society that he’s “tolerant,” and hope there will be some peer groups out there who will see that as reason to include him.

For a white male to say “here, muslim female of color, have all this control over my life” makes ZERO natural, biological sense. If she hs limited authority and we have similar priorities for government, that’s fine. But the more “big government” you are, the less sense it makes to give power to people who differ from you. It’s completely counter intuitive. It’s simply a hipster contrarian counter-culture construct, but it has major real life implications.
