KD is literally the most unguardeble player the league has ever see and then you add a guy like Kyrie who's unstoppable 1 v 1 and has that killer instinct to close games when needed and then you got LeVert who's basically a shorter version of Durant and is going to be a future superstar in this league

I know Kawhi can't stop Durant because he dropped a career high on his head earlier this year and neither can LeBron (see 2017 & 2018 finals)

I feel sorry for the rest of the league since no one can hang with us what a shame :(

Kd is not the most ungaurdable. He only has 2 seasons of 30 points or more and 2 playoffs of 30 points or more and he'll never have another for the rest of his career. Mj has like 8 reg season and 11 playoff. Kareem has more of both also.

Kd will never be the same after the Achilles's just like Kyrie has never been the same without LeBron. They'll never win a chip dude

Is that why Tony Allen used to take KD's soul?

Your hot takes show how little you understand hoops, I mean you did choose Kyle Korver with your 5th pick at the ISH all time draft :oldlol:

Stick to footy, mate.

Tony Allen is the greatest perimeter defender and he's not in the league anymore so no one in the league currently can defend KD :applause:

Has Simmons learnt to shoot outside 5ft yet and has Embiid learnt how to not choke in the playoffs?

If so then maybe Philly are a threat

Richardson > LaVert
Simmons > Cryie
Embiid > KD

Also

McConnell > Ed "hurt myself trying to guard Embiid" Davis.

Durant is almost done.

Reality indicates he is now well passed his peak. Sure he could be an above average player for a few more years but the best of Kevin Durant is now over.

KD is in his early 30s and he didn't injure the achilles on the leg his jumps/pushes off so he'll be fine, it's not like he was a small guard who relied on speed/quickness to get his shot off to begin with, he can still shoot over anyone. At worst he's still on prime Dirk level and that's still an efficient 25-30 ppg scorer who's unstoppable in the post.

He has been injury prone his whole career. He is not LeBron.

Durant played for the f#cking Seattle Supersonics

Let that sink in.

He is almost done and now sitting out a year with an achilles injury.

Reality, son. There are no more championships. It's nearly over.

There's a good chance he won't miss the whole season when you look at the history of players returning from that injury. You might see him in the Playoffs if the Nets play well enough throughout the season without him.

Injury prone his whole career? He barely missed any time his first 7 seasons, he did have a Jones' fracture but came back just fine from it. He did have the knee injury late in one of those seasons as a Warrior but went on to have a dominant Playoff run and one of the best statistical Finals series in league history, the achilles injury is his 2nd big one but like I said, it wasn't his left leg which he uses to jump and push off of.

Durant is an unique player. He already hurt his calf and probably partially tore his achilles before returning in the Finals and still looked as good as ever after not playing basketball for a month. He'll be elite for at least another 4-5 years with his skillset.

Durant returning to full form isn't a sure thing and, considering how long he's gonna be out, it could take him a year to be himself.
A LOT can happen during that time span, who knows how the League will look then.

As of now, the Sixers and Bucks could beat the Nets even with a healthy Durant.

lol he was DPOY conversation in the 2018 season, a small forward that averages 2 blocks per game with a 7'10 wingspan and can switch onto any position

KD is an elite defender when he needs to be :applause:

Boy it'll be awkward if they don't even make the Finals. Even LeBron could get through the weak East!!!

Manny you used to be only a Lebron stan, but you've been stanning Kyrie and KD this past year or so (which is weird since you used to talk shit about them all the time due to your Lebron standom).

What happened?

These guys are known for stopping themselves.

They can be fully healthy and still hamstring themselves because they can't get out of their own way.

The only question is who is going to blame the other first - KD or Kyrie.

It just so happens that we both respect greatness and tilt our hats to Lebron.
