Bron came back and gave Cleveland a chip - a promise well kept.

Kiawi was traded and never promised anything but won a chip for Toronto.

Which was a better championship :confusedshrug:

Easily Kawhi's.

The injuries to the Warriors are taking away from the 2nd and 3rd rounds which were more difficult Eastern Conference rounds than anything Bran has ever faced. Also they weren't rigged ala 2016 finals for Bran.

Have to agree with this.

In Lebron's 8 straight Finals, he never once faced a player as good as 2019 Giannis, not even close.

Agreed.

Kawhi didn't need Adam Silver.

Lebron.

Kawhi had a deep/stacked roster and faced the warriors that had an injury for every key player besides draymond.

2016 caused all sort of meltdowns, so it wins by default.

If that exact same roster was Bran's cast there would be media outrage saying Bran has no help and LeGOAT would be throwing his annual on court visible tantrums demanding for half the team to get overhauled

What was your opinion of Siakam, FVV, Norman Powell, Green, Ibaka, etc before this season?

Don't kid yourself.

Easily LeBron. He went up against a fully healthy 73-9 warriors team that had a very good bench. Kawhi went up against a heavily depleted warriors squad that had a shitty bench. It's LeBron and it's not close

I was referring to his competition on road to the Finals, the post I quoted talked about 2nd and 3rd rounds. Obviously Giannis is better than Klay and probably better than 2016 Curry after his knee injury.

Good thing the playoffs are 4 rounds and not 1.

Also the Warriors were 15-9 in the playoffs with injuries/wear so 73-9 reg season is irrelevant for playoffs.

Yeah, Curry was injured and basically missed a month in the Playoffs and then you had injuries to Bogut and Iggy, not to mention the Green suspension in Game 5.

The fact that three people sprint to this thread to down play, to get angry over 2016 shows its greatness. It will be the greatest championship in the history of sports forever. They know it, and it is beautiful to watch. Three years later and they are still livid, still fuming, still seething. We won, we will always have won and there is nothing you can do about it. No matter how much trash you lot post on this website.

The MVP of that team was playing on one leg and then you have a series-ending injury to the starting C and the 2015 FMVP injuring his back on top of the suspension. We all know Bran didn't beat a 100% healthy Warriors squad.

Kyle Lowry didn't win FMVP and Ty Lue going from assistant HC to HC makes it appear to be Bron.

But Steve Kerr may had set a record on ex-front office(GM) turn coach with the highest rate of injury, that really evened it out.

Raptors got a bye in the 1st round with the Magic. Followed up with facing a hobbled/sick Embiid. Then got to face the choke artist Middleton and a hobbled Brogdon.

And finished against an injured curry (finger), Durant, Iggy, Cousins, Looney, and Klay.

Curry was wayyy more injured in 2016 and you had injuries to Bogut and Iggy + Draymond suspension, and their road to the Finals was way easier with Detroit, Atlanta and the Raptors. Kawhi didn't have a player as great as Kyrie either.

Kawhi beat a Sixers team with 4 all-stars, a 60-win Bucks team and a Warriors team with Steph playing at his best in the Finals with a healthy Green and Klay shooting lights out in the games he did play.

Embiid wasn't 100% but the Sixers still had three other all-stars + JJ Redick. Kawhi played lights out in that series and it was still close, so either Kawhi's help was garbage or the Sixers were just that great. I'd go with both because Siakam and Lowry were terrible offensively, not to mention that VanVleet shot 1/14 from three in that series. That Game 7 was Game 6 Jordan type carry.
