Glance at last season's final conference standings, just as a refresher:

Ponder what changed this summer, and what you're most looking forward to this season. And of course in some cases it'll be entire teams, but also could be individual players on bad teams that are still worth paying attention to.

Looking forward to not knowing who the NBA will likely be.

It *could* be Philly, Clippers, Lakers, Bucks(in no order).
There's at least 6 teams with a legit shot
Curious to see how LeBron bounces back
Curious to see how Kawhi and PG play together
Curious to see how D12 plays
Curious to see what happens in Dallas

The obvious answer is having an actual unpredictable champ, and having both conferences legitimately up for grabs for the first time in over a decade

It's not that unpredictable. There are maybe like 2-3 real contenders at any given point in NBA basketball. It's just the way the sport is. It's a sport where one player can make a bigger impact than any other team sport and where the best team almost always wins since it's a 7 game series. It was better when the first round was a 5 game series since that at least opened it up for upsets.
