Does Canada have the potential to grow NBA bigger than the NHL in Canada?

Toronto fanbase. Has the Raptors exceeded popularity over the Leafs?

Can a team be sustained in Vancouver?

No chance in hell bro :oldlol: Hockey is Canada's national pastime, not to mention they have 7x the amount of NHL teams

I totally agree. I'm having a conversation with someone who is convinced the NBA market could outgrow the NHL. Especially in Vancouver.

No way, not even with Raptors championship and if Lenard stayed. Hockey is life over there.

The Maple Leafs haven't won the Stanley Cup in like 50yrs.

If it were they, instead of the Raptors, that won the championship in June, fans would still be partying and getting arrested in celebration. A Leafs parade would make the Raps parade look like a lunch date at your local diner.

And yet a Browns Super Bowl win parade would make a Leafs parade look like two people sharing a bucket of popcorn at the local movie theater.
