He just played like an idiot. That working out with Kobe did more harm than good as he he started taking awful mid range shots all season long while never getting to the rim. Hopefully he worked on his ball handling because it has been pretty pedestrian so far. He'd get stripped all the time when he tried to attack the rim which is probably while he decided to just settle for low percentage mid range fade aways.

Tatum is such a weird guy to have haters. Whats he done to anyone? has he said something annoying? Is he a crazy flopper? What?

He seems easy to like to me. Like hes a worker. He has that worker skillset thats hard to describe. Something about his balance. The way guys like Kobe, Leonard, and Jordan have of ending up perfectly squared up in the most unusual positions that shows you the reps they put in and the focus they have on fundamentals. That meticulous way of getting where they want.

Not all those players are great....Ben Gordon had that quality for one....

But its a good look. You can tell the natural gift guys from the gym built "Step here....rise....square up...." guys who must be running drills all the time to get better.

Tatum could have a Leonard like trajectory far as his offense goes. Just work and work and work till every situation is something hes prepared for.

Watch that guys feet. He has nasty footwork in a way that doesnt get highlights....but you dont get without the work. You can see the wheels turning as he creates shots. When he can do it off instinct hes gonna be a problem. The games gonna really slow down for him.

Im a fan I think. Id like to see him do well.

I think the issue is that he regressed in both RS/Playoffs his 2nd season, and I'm not talking raw averages but overall efficiency and his play on defense.

I think he'll average somewhere around 18-21 points and make the all-star team, he has to if the Celtics want to finish top 4 in the East. He's a good 3-point shooter and needs to up the volume, sick of him shooting more mid-range jumpers than 3s.

His shooting numbers got a little worse but there was no noticeable drop-off in his defensive effort.
