Looking explosive, has the vision, the length, could get even TALLER...

If only LaVar didn't teach his sons the worst jump shot form (although he's already quickened his release and it still hits)...their really wouldn't be much to criticize about his game, at least offensively.
His potential is starting to look special.

Worse competition than D3 NCAA, he'll be a great fit for a G-leauge team
Shout out to 2018 NBL mvp 36yo Andrew Bogut

If you watch that clip and can't recognize LaMelo's physical skillset/talent and how it translates to the game of basketball...like I said, you simply don't have an eye for it.
It's okay, you just don't.

Not sold on his athleticism
Skill-wise, I have no issues, other than I think he could be a great catch-and shoot player like curry.. but I doubt he's considering that a valuable aspect of his game or something that could separate him.. but it would . And he actually has the perfect form for a quick-release catch-and-shoot style
I don't see why he wouldn't be at least a Rubio?..

I like his skill but question his athleticism
He should be a Rubio-type but maybe better

One clip......I can use one clip and make Ben Wallace look like a better offensive player than Shaq.
I've seen Melo play since he was in middle school, but yes, one clip says a lot more

His mentality/ego is going to be the biggest question.

Lamelo is an NBA-level athlete. He's very fleet-footed and can turn the corner with solid quickness and can change directions. His handle is gross. He's an amazing passer. He'll only get stronger.
He can be an all-star. Rubio isn't as shift or have as many scoring moves in the halfcourt. He'll be better than Rubio. Lonzo is Rubio.
