He has the NBA record for most bricks in NBA history.

It seems unbreakable. Discuss.:lol

crazy part is over half his career were wide open buckets with defenses entirely focused on O'neal

15.6 is pretty good for a single quarter, for a series not so much.

It’s Kobe’s playoff win % without an elite HOF big man.

"Bryant... TO SHAQ!!! Kobe Bryant's two free throws and then a jumper gave the Lakers a 4 point lead. And now his assist to Shaquille O'Neal makes it a 6 point difference with 41.3 seconds left. LA has outscored Portland 25 to 4 in the last 9 minutes and 50 seconds."

"We knew there was no way we could stop Shaq straight-up"

"But what’s going to happen is Mr. Bryant is going to get a little discouraged with getting no touches and now the second half comes around…now he’s pressing. He’s going to start coming down and just breaking the offense." - Chauncey Billups

Kobe took 29 more shots than Shaq in the series despite Shaq averaging 27 PPG on 62 TS%. Kobe shot 38% in the series.

Lakers had a 2 point lead going in the 4th. Blazers had a 15 point lead with 10 minutes left in the game.  In a do or die game 7. Biggest game 7 collapse in NBA history.

Orchestrated by a 21 year old Kobe Bryant lmfao, no wonder you hate him so much.

Actually it was Brian Shaw and Robert Horry but you can give Kobe the credit. :lol

Kobe had 9 in the 4th.. Shaw and Horry had 6 a piece and 3 of Horry's were from intentional fouls at the end of the game. Kobe haters can't give him credit for anything. :lol

Sure. They are about to let high school kids come in again. Guys shoot more threes. Play less minutes....but the potential is still there to miss more shots assuming one of the kids doesnt miss much of their last few years like Kobe did.

:lol you can tell he's still salty as hell. Kobe led the team in points, rebounds, assists AND blocks in that Game 7. Shaq did his best to lose the last 2 games of the series tbh, it's always been Kobe to close out the game/series for him. Not only did Kobe close the series, but he also had the game-winning block on Sabonis in Game 3 We go OT on the road and likely lose if Sabonis scores on that play.

21 y.o Kobe was better than PEAK MDE SHAQ in 4 out of 7 games of a WCF.

Series ends in five if 14be doesn't lay an egg at home.

Shaq clearly outplayed him 4 games, and another one was even. So not sure where you're getting your #'s from.

Only about three of us in this thread actually watched basketball back then.

The rest are just posting pictures or numbers without context.
