I'm not sold on them making the play offs this year...the West is still insanely stacked. They'd be a 100% lock in the East though. Play offs need to be 1-16 seed.

I still need to see this in real games against teams trying to win games. However, his consistency is starting to make me doubt my prediction. Hard to believe a 6-6 pf is consistently putting up these numbers. Still only 5 rebounds. Seems pretty weak.

He seems to be a damn fine finisher around the basket.

He moves off the ball significantly better than Bron ever has and does.

He is a relentless attacker looking to expose any tiny gap in the defense. He reads the defense quickly and reacts immediately without wasting any time.

He finishes around the rim better than Bron.


Again, this doesn't mean he is a better player than Bron. We'll have to wait and see how his natural instincts unfold when the season starts, but the natural traits are there.

But don't underestimate Zion, his IQ is high, his reading and reaction are high regardless of preseason.

Yeah I'm in the same camp. Just didn't see his style really fitting into today's game but was hoping to be wrong. The preseason so far has shown he's capable of being just as dominant inside in the NBA. I don't think there will be much of a drop off in the regular season so I see him as ROY.

Obviously though (unless I'm wrong again) his game will have to expand quite a bit to be as dominant in the playoffs in the future.

Huge Lebron fan. I've watched him since 2003 (even caught his high school dunk contest live). Zion is just as athletic as rookie LeBron if not a bit more explosive. LeBron obviously had a few more things though that Zion doesn't yet and started his career a year younger.
