No one brings up Harden and Westbrook because they haven't won anything.

LeBron is currently the only player ever in NBA history to have career 30,000+ points, 8,000+ assists and 8,000+ rebounds in a career. No one else has that. He'll likely have 35,000+ 10,000+ 10,000+ when it's all said and done.

It's funny you bring up him having the ball every trip up the court. Because yes he does, but you know the two players who have higher usage rates than LeBron? The two you mentioned. Harden and Westbrook. It's been that way for a while now.

Harden's averaging 29/6/8 over the past 7 seasons, Westbrook 25/8/9, Lebron's at 27/8/8. All 3 are practically on the same level numbers-wise.

It's funny how Lebron fans always used stats when comparing him to everyone else but multiple players have had better or similar seasons over the past 5 or so years, but those are empty and Lebron's aren't because it's not like he didn't have the best supporting cast during most of this stretch

I dont think lebron is as obsessed with monster stats as you think...

He usually plays to his averages in the regular season. Nothing more nothing less. Hes not trying to average 30 10 and 10. Hes aiming to maintain 27 7 7.

In the playoffs you get a different active lebron.

Oh really... is he trying to maintain or does he just not have the energy to do it 82 games like Westbrook?

I dunno if winning even matters. Harden and WB just aren't as good as Bron was (in his prime) or close. WB 30-10-10 or harden 35-10-6, whatever it was... it doesn't matter. STATS DON'T MATTER DUDES.

Bron does at times pad his stats, mostly rebounding stats, but so do those guys. Bron has a massively larger effect on the game than them.

There might be a blueprint for winning with Harden, but he'd have to change his play style a little. I don't think there is a blueprint for winning with WB, but he could be on a winning team. Bron has an established winning blueprint. But he's also kinda washed now. Kinda proof that stats don't matter. Bron can still get 28-8-8 even tho he's washed in his 16-17th year, so of course WB who goes way harder and is younger can get triple doubles.

Looking at Bron's stats you might think he didn't peak and then decline a little. But he just gets those stats regardless. That's another difference. WB has to try to get those stats. Bron getting 8 and 8 is almost guaranteed. It's just about if he turns the ball over too much or if he doesn't score enough/people miss open shots.

I am not comfortable defending Lebron but..... his stats are pretty good. Nobody in their right mind would take WB and his triple doubles over Lebron.

It is common knowledge OKC allowed Westbrook to statpad his way to triple doubles.

It's funny how people don't see the implications.

Nobody thinks WB > LeBron. Why we assume LeBron > Kobe now is a mystery. He isn't actually a better player.
