It's 2020 and it's obvious that LeBron James is the undisputed King of the NBA as prophesized in his rookie campaign 17 years ago.

What he did to change the game during his tenure:

1. Took the power from owners by constantly changing teams and forming super teams to his liking by signing contracts for less years

2. Put pressure on owners to sign certain players to contracts

3. Played a lot of good basketball. 8 straight finals in his prime

Is that everything he did?

Imagine comparing this guy to a King hahahah

He would have never made it to King if this was an actual King battle...2007 or 2011 would have been straight up executed.

At the very best, he holds his castle for 2 years until hes over thrown in the most one sided battle ever

Why didn't those owners cut him and or why did they keep signing him if he was so detrimental to a team and it's owner?

Lebron failed to compete adequately because he's 2-5 against the best teams of the era (Spurs/Warriors), including 2 sweeps and 2 record defeats.

He's also the first player to use a ploy ("the decision") to win rings.. This gave him a 3rd star in the starting lineup for 7 straight years (2011-2017) - only lebron had a starting big 3 for that time period, yet he only went 3/7 with multiple star teammates each year

Otoh, Curry was a juggernaut favorite in 2015 despite Klay being a 1st time all-star.. He needed less to win because he's more skilled and could play off teammates, rather than reducing teammates (ball-domination) to get his stats like Bron
.
